Kingdom Under Fire 2 has gotten off to a solid start, and I honestly had a ton of fun playing. Unfortunately, for me, the gender locked classes are a pretty big deal, and having issues with finding groups to do things can be frustrating. One problem is currently it’s easy to knock out the dailies, which is nice because we aren’t endlessly grinding our faces on, but once people get their dailies done, the server can feel a bit like a ghost town. They do have a December patch planned and new content is on the way, so hopefully, they’ll be able to reach a good state of equilibrium.

But also it's a nice illustration how society's development rely on the new generation - despite being governed by irrelevant older (practically dying) clowns.
Thank you for your time!
actually the main reason is the entrance fee, both games you said not considerating pubg is free to play, also remember kingdom under fire 2 is 10 years old, and wnat to be b2p when all the previous version was f2p so..... you can bet your ass most people will just wait, plus we also have conquerors blade who sell the same
Vault-Tec analysts have concluded that the odds of worldwide nuclear armaggeddon this decade are 17,143,762... to 1.
The previous versions of KuF were b2p xbox games and the oldest was b2p pc game. The kuf2. eastern release was f2p if thats what you meant sry.
So your saying people are playing games for the cost and not because the games are actually good?
I personally feel popularity is in the form of "competitive player versus player game play.A game can be super simple,no depth, basically a pile of turd but if there is some form of ranking system or ladder system or Esport,it will be popular.
Three types of people, those looking for social online, those looking to compete/showoff/brag,those looking to hang out with people from around the world to share in game play. Then of course there is the complete loner, who for some reason wants to join the MMO crave but still ignore it at the same time.
Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.
The progression is basically a completely different game at max level and in all the worse ways possible.
....and even a casual player will reach this terrible endgame and max level in five days tops.
15 years or whatever to make this game for five days of content and then some daily dungeon repeating. That's impressively pathetic.
All those faction wars and air vs air battles and line formations and stuff that the tutorials mentioned and level 50 requirement to start unlocking back up troop slots and ultimate skiills etc that's all strewn throughout the game UI and tutorials aren't actually in the game yet.
It feels like (and probably is) that they had tons of ideas in mind, weren't able to finish it, but then left all the tutorials and UI for it in the game. And then just... spat out whatever content they could get and 15 years later someone picked it up and didn't bother adding anything else to it before slapping it onto the market.
Too bad because the gameplay was fun while the content lasted (well, the army vs army gameplay. I still find it bizarre that they bothered with and bothered keeping the generic MMORPG gameplay segments)
All development on KUF2 ended years ago so they will slowly release what little content they have to give the illusion that you didnt just waste your money but they will run out soon enough. Its a worthless game that is why its Buy to Play.
The reviewer(see: paid shill) probably should have mentioned this but did not.
Of course, in KUF's case, end game gets reached in like, 5 days. Woulda been nice if the reviewer played it for that long before giving the review, although I suppose even 5 days sometimes falls under the "too late" when it comes to how short the news cycle can be.
