Vanguard or Spellborn?

Vanguard:Saga of Heroes....or The Chronicles of Spellborn....Which is going to be a funner game?

I'm not too big of a fan for the NON-auto attack but the game looks pretty good....

I was loving vanguard until SOE took over...I hope they havent touched the actual development part of the game

If someone has an opinion or an educated guess please post it here...

Well, I cant say I'm much of a fan of auto-attack, and Spellborn has some pretty innovative stuff going on. It's going to definatly be a much more fun game for me.

Both will have their own reasons to play and I will try both, but I must admit, Vanguard will be my home no matter what.

I will be getting Vanguard when it releases and if it would turn out bad ( which I don't think it will ) then I see Spellborn as a promising second choice.

Exactly my stance on it, too :P

Neither. I will most likely try Age of Conan next. However, Vanguard was superior until they joined to SOE forces.

Vaguard still is the only real MMORPG  for me.

Conan looks like a more Hack n Slay PvP centred game to me ,with less depth.

Warhammer looks like a PvP only game and for me the Grafics looks to much like WoW (yeah i know, they were first, but WoW is on Market and Warhammer is not)

Lord of the Rings: i didnt like the fact that you cant play the dark races.

Gods and heroes also looks like an easy going action Title and i am realy not into those "give me all Godpowers" stuff.

And to Spellborn, yes its look like an alterative for VsoH right now but for me still is second.

I don't know enough about Spellborn (I'll have to look into it) but for me currently (as an anti-$oE guy who is torn and skeptical) it is a major toss up between Conan and Vanguard.  Right now I am tipping towards Conan, but that can change in a heart beat.

To Vengeful: Dude, back off on the caffeine huh? Jeez, we're not all American, we don't all speak English as our primary language and some of us have yet to complete high school!

To everyone else, Sony has spoiled my interest in Vanguard a little as well. I still have hopes for it though as I too enjoyed EQ (though NOT EQ2). Spellborn has been my runner up but now it's more of a "when they're here which will I try first" thing. I suppose by the time either or both come out my opinions may change again, we'll see.

i honestly don't know a whole lot about spellborn but this is what i do know. the game is supposed to be released this year, they are in beta but yet no public e3 coverage this year?

that alone scares me that a game so close to release doesn't have anything they want to show publicly. there are a few games in development that have a chance to be as or more successful than vanguard and possible a better quality game, but right now it doesn't look like spellborn IMO.

i am in the same boat as you, however from the looks of it i think vanguard will be the type of game that will hold my attention alot longer than Conan will.

Conan seems to be a game that will be awsome for a while but vanguard seems to be a game that will be awsome for years.

but just like you that can all change in a heartbeat, we will find out when these games go live.::::19::

Thank you so much, I fully agree with your (quite possible) hatred for S.O.E.
