    99.999% of players cant even do pvp, while others... game is dead.

    ArcheAge Alpha 1.0 was one of the best mmorpgs I've ever played - this was before the cash shop.

    What the game is today with all the dumb dailies and themepark elements added all over the place, the game is ruined in so many ways.

    Gamigo being totally useless and XL being greedy didnt help the game 



    It's not often I feel I can agree with you, but yeah Alpha 1 was my dream MMO.

    For me, it's still the best new-ish MMO out. I will continue play until something better comes along. Sadly (for the genre as a whole) that seems like it may be a while. Luckily I don't have a problem splitting my time with other games. I am glad they at least appear to be putting in an effort to fix issues.

    Im playing it right now as there is nothing else like it out there (except Wurm which has awful combat and BDO which is lacking PvE content).
    Running through the main cities shows that there was so much stuff planned to be implemented.
    It seems that they planned some sort of newspaper, ingame auctions, player run shops/taverns/...
    At least there are empty buildings for that kind of stuff.

    It seems that they had Big ideas creating a sandbox world but it got destroyed by the themepark crowd rushing to endgame and crying that there is no more Progression, leading to the item creep we have now.

    Its really really sad.
