An EVE Online player has put an extremely rare ship up for auction on the EVE forums, listing the starting bid at 1 Trillion ISK. The OP has indicated that the proceeds form this sale will go directly towards buying PLEX to contribute to CCP's PLEX for GOOD charity campaign.

    That's called "quitting with a bang" and usually look like putting all your PLEX into a shuttle and cruising around Jita 4-4 till someone pop you.

    I'm clueless on real Eve stuff.  Why do only two of these ships exist?

    If you are holding out for the perfect game, the only game you play will be the waiting one.

    "The Gold Magnate is a special edition frigate, given out as the first place prize for the Amarr Championship, held in late 2003 (YC105) and early 2016 (YC118). Between these two tournaments, only five Gold Magnates have been distributed, and as of January 2020, just two are known to still exist. The Gold Magnate's base armor, velocity, and capacitor far exceed that of any other frigate in the game..."

    PS: I would exclude the "Polaris" frigate used by CCP game masters in game in that comparison. Which are basically unkillable.

    There are a few people in EVE that are famous because they do NOT scam. Ever. Which made them some of the richest people in EVE. They are often the middlemen for the REALLY BIG deals. And get a percentage for their  "troubles".

    This works exactly because EVE is so well known for its scam lords and their many tricks.

    He won the Imperial Succession Trials tournament and therewith allowed Her Majesty Catiz Tash-Murkon to be crowned as new Empress of Amarr.
