I just downloaded this game, on the free trial, i'm really enjoying it, I think I found an MMO i'll enjoy.

Well when I started out I picked the fighting, crafting, and magic things. I thought I could forage stuff but I can't figure out how, can someone help me, I bought that pick thing but it wont work.

Aha you choose fight and crafting and magic, but not harvesting.

You will have to ask a trainer to teach you harvesting, I don't remember what the initial cost for that is, but my guess is 50 skillpoints. So, level fighting (or magic) until you have 50 points to spend (look at the character sheet with the key "p") and buy it from the fighter (or magic) trainer.

Then use your pick on the green stuff

Thanks for the reply, I thought they would probably have a trainer somewhere but I wasn't sure. I'm really enjoying this game so far, its gotta take me a little while to understand everything but I'm sure i'll enjoy it :D

I think they reduced the cost of the starter pack to just 20, but I am not 100% on that.  The forage starter pack should be avaliable from the fight/craft/magic trainers tho, decide which one you want to spend the extra sp (skill points) in and get the skill.  Then all you need to do is buy a pick from the tool merchant and start digging up the green blobs around the town :)

Its not realy hard to forage but you need some help and/or gear from the others players.

Just ask a lot, this game is all about forage. Most of the players and even most of the prime roots masters dont know how/when supreme materials exactly come. Thats one of the best part of that game and requier a lot of experience/skill, more than in any MMO. You can be a good forager without 1 month but hardly a good supreme hunter in less than 5 or 6 months.
