    Interesting that they are asking for "gamers", is that a usual description of a Senior Systems Designer or whatever?

    Pretty much the entire studio is comprised of gamers, so whether it's usual or not, it's definitely something they (Intrepid) have been putting a lot of stake in when hiring.

    I think it would make sense for developers whose work is about "playing the game."

    I could see a company not using "gamers" for something like networking code or "animations" or some such thing.

    I think that was a dig at the 'gamer' job skill, not the engineer/dev/etc. Sorry the humor flew right past you...

    Damn, still no postings for "armchair developer" for which I am well qualified.  B)

    No project managers of course, when did planning and schedules ever matter for any of these indie MMO efforts?
