I think main problem for this game was optimization. If they did optimization first, released game then fix bugs etc it would be great. Now people with even high end cards are having low fps with other players/animals around and they still didnt do optimization :/

That's the thing about EA games, rarely you see something that runs okay. This one in it's massive scale is actually doing well.

You want the team behind Ark to release an optimized game....? In Early Access no less....? The same Ark that is charging full price and is still riddled with bugs, some of which have existed since its early access days....Would have better luck raising a pig that could fly at this point.

The entire business that seems to stem from Snail games is baffling to me,i  think it is simpler than i imagine.ARK is not better than Atlas but because it is more popular it garners more money,a higher asking price.
These are not TEAMS,at least not in the sense of more than maybe 5 people per team,if that.

Their plan from day 1 was to rebrand the same code with  some different assets over and over.

If they were more serious about their game instead of aiming  for a spiteful scummy greedy way, they would likely be rolling in the dough with loads of players.Perhaps in their minds these re brands are legit to pull off a different vibe in each, idk.

What is even more baffling is that they built the entire enterprise off of pvp but hardly anyone cares about pvp,you seldom see it in ANY of their games. How could anyone be that stubborn to not realize their pvp idea is just dumb.So imo they couldn't possibly be that stupid, they simply have no choice because PVE takes a full team and a lot of work.
So i accept Atlas for what it does for myself,i guess similar to those who have been playing Minecraft for the past 20 years, only for me Atlas is a hundred times better than Minecraft.

I have given up hoping for a complete robust game, this team will NOT deliver much more.IMO their goal was hoping for more popularity so they could introduce a cash shop and imo are still hoping for that route or they will simply give up as well and try yet another re-brand of the same code.

Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.

Problem is had potential for pve, and people were excited. They opted for pure pvp content and people began leaving.

Now its 1 nerf after another for the cross play crowd.
