There is not much to talk about concerning Star Citizen and that is the problem.

Sure. Features available in Alpha you an't find packed in one single Triple-A from multi-billionnaires publishers, weekly communication, two roadmaps, upcoming 3.9 and updated roadmpa with 4.1 (Q3)... Almost nothing to talk about :)

Star Citizen is the living example how stupid gamers are these days, spending 5000 $ on a virtual ship.
Or a living example of gamers who believe they can call others stupid for the way other people support projects they believe in ... spending their own money the way they want.

Yes, there ARE whales in some games, especially crowdfunding games. Including Star Citizen. But they are the exception to the rule. Most people (and we are speaking hundredthousands .. maybe millions) have spent a much more moderate amount (the 50 buck basic package and a few add-ons, skins, cosmetic items...etc.)

    Have fun

I have no comment about this but what i think is that it doesen't matter if it's good or bad because there is not even a single new and creative online game to play and it doesen't look like we gonna have any soon. All the  games are limited graphically and gameplay wise due to limitations of console crazyness and all pc games are just a cheap port over from consoles. (F76, F4, ESO , Skyrim , monster hunter, etc ......) Check out the unreal engine 4 capabilities and  imagine that graphics with a game like wow and you would shit your pants, Problem is that there are 99% more console owners than high end pc owners so not single company will invest millions for pc games anymore. We didn't even see a proper pc Blizzard game in the past 10 years just diablo 3 and owerwatch which is perfectly playable on ps4 and bouth are the biggest crap i ever played from Blizzard.  The real technology is lagging behind our culture and social trends. So this is why i don't give a damn about oculus or any piece of hardware anymore.

I guess you think all those great things you crave for can be achieved without hard work and a huge investment. Well they can't, that's why Star Citizen has so many backers. :)

In 2018, Fornite gathered in on single year 3 Billions dollars players spent on skins.
SC+SQ42 budget (including create studios and pipelines from scratch and hiring +500 devs) spent so far around 200M$... over a period of 7 years.

Those spending thousands are a minority but at least the SC community is building an ambitious project. IF you don't like Alpha... don't join or spend what the majority pledged for: 45$ not an extra cent.
