Nah, this is not marketing.
Marketing employs clever people who know how to hide the base drive for gold behind pleasing, creative and sometimes even philosophical communication. Marketing works the crowd in a way that makes them enjoy the ride, laugh at your witty punchlines and admire the beautiful, artistic visuals. Marketing is what makes you voluntarily google best commercials of 2019. At its worst, marketing goes '2 for the price of 1' in garish colours, but essentially keeping the urges in check.
This is the extra level of vulgarity and simple-mindedness. This is a random CEO watching a few online gaming monetisation tutorials and going 'hey, we have to do a FOMO campaign!'.
This is the Hulk quality of marketing.
Caspien has a degree in Psychology. He puts that to great effect by designing FOMO sales. It’s amazing that he has been able to get the same people to donate over and over again despite delivering on close to nothing other than pixel items and property.

One good thing, they do actually get back to you pretty fast with any issues if you submit a ticket. I can't find anything else positive to say including the customer service semi professional reply. I've literally had a better experience with a crappy f2p company customer service than these guys and that is asking me to resubmit a ticket after 6 months.
This isn't a signature, you just think it is.
I would hope their customer service is quick, extremely small base of supporters and nothing to support other than a website.
How about an exclusive Spanish Galleon for just $500?
