Seriously?I would be the first to jump in but the graphics look very good.
"hiring schedule"...so they obviously have not worked yet on some aspects of the design.I am not sure what positions they would be waiting to the last minute to hire but whatever.
What i do see is a real need for more assets,however to be fair this might have simply been a fast setup and not how the actual game might look.More tree options,moving npc's etc etc.
I am going to assume this game needs still a lot of work or a bigger team,this should take another 2 years imo.
I will say this....THANK GOD i am not seeing yellow markers over npc heads,seeing the npc wave at the player was a breathe of fresh air.You have no idea how much simple immersion ruining ideas like floating markers of any kind bothers me,it bothers me a LOT.
The creatures look good,the pace of combat was so so,perhaps the animations could be a tad slower on the weapon swings.I also do not know the level of depth the combat has.I also do not know if there is any actual group mechanics,buff debuff player to player combos etc etc.
I am not sold on the NODE idea.

Little things that i see in games that others likely don't think of came to mind seeing the MUSHROOM fight.I like seeing studios that are creative in their thinking.I would like to see that Mushroom have a defensive mode.So for example the mushroom drops down into a defensive shell immune to melee dmg and after maybe 3 secs gives off a poisonous gas that make players back off and have to use magic or ranged damaged.
TOO simple of game play bores me after awhile,like simply whack whack dead ,move to next enemy doesn't cut it for me.That is why i despise SIMPLE combat that ARPG's have,whack swing whack swing next next,no thanks.

Looks great, I am guessing they felt they need to justify themselves after CoE .
Not really, the Alpha 1 preview was already scheduled a long time ago and delayed a tiny bit because of having to adjust to working from home, but this was planned well before CoE folded.
I agree. they looked better before. im not sure what they did. they look like they are from 2007. i hope theymake them better
are you drunk? guild wars 1 came out in 2005. These graphics look vastly better than that. I dont know what mmorpgs you were playing in 2007 that had graphics this good. care to clue me in?
