Me and a few friends bought it day 1 and didn't regret it. Great game but insanely hard to learn, especially in multiplayermode. I am willing to learn though ;)

If you have played the old Mount and Blade games you will love this.
Running smooth for me for now.
Bought it for the single player sandbox. Not interested in the Multiplayer PVP.
Would have been great if you could play the sandboxy Campaign with friends though.

I am a scizo misanthrope. So one day I may go BANZAI on your post.
Have not yet though. Maybe there is hope?
Nah there is really none for me or the human race.

Its basically Sid Meier's pirates but in a medieval setting. Definitely need more games like this.

I find it not original enough compared to its first game. It still revolves around top down map move to a place, get engaged, go into fight mod and then skirmish. Rinse repeat.

The multiplayer alone needs more freedoms and tools for playability. Same old pitting people against people for a "flag" control is just plain old after a few turns. It's like making a mouse chase a bit of cheese on a string forever and ever.

Good art style though and looks great but it lacks depth and soul.

Never played the first game and always heard good things, so I decided to give this one a shot while waiting for New World's Beta. Could care less about instanced multiplayer battles, but the singleplayer campaign is hella fun. Meanwhile, only encountered half a dozen bugs and 3 crashes in 20 hours, not bad for an early access launch.

I keep seeing people posting about how it doesn't differ from the original much and doesn't graphically even look much different. Is there enough of a difference to justify me buying it if I already have the original?

I heard people talking about stutters and lagg even on lowest graphics with high end rigs. For someone who has low end pc this game would be nightmare despite meeting minimum system requirements. Anyway i'm not really interested in this game, despite such popularity. Just because game is popular doesn't mean you should follow it. I'm busy with ESO until New World releases, so i'm good.

Does anyone know if they offer battle mode for this game? I heard they were removing that mode, but some people claim that you can still do it. That is the entire reason I haven’t purchased the game yet. If anyone knows about this, please share with me. Thanks!

Its pretty good. It's almost exactly like Mount and Blade with a couple improvements and better graphics. I am not having stuttering issues currently. Not sure on battle mode. I think there is a mod for that.

There is no battle mode, it was replaced with a mode called skirmish, a mini ctf/conquest like mode where you get several lives more if you pick less expensive class. I dont care for it and wish they had the you only live once type battle mode.

But whenever modding tools get released that will change I am sure.

If you own any previous M&B title you get another 10% on top of the 10% sale, which puts the price at $40.
