Dragon Raja = Diablo --- A 'must play' for Diablo fans.

I've played Dragon Raja for a long time now on their old server. If
you're a graphic whore, this game will not suit you. This game has
Diablo graphics with Diablo game play. Except it is fully an mmo. There
is lots of PvP, guild houses, and tons of crafting, items, loot,
monsters. And, weekly wars between the nations. It's RvRvR combat.
I
suggest all Diablo fans and mmorpg fans alike try this game before you
judge it. The rank that it was given on this site is really
dissapointing. It deservers a lot more. It's addicting and full of
lasting gameplay.

I'm downloading the game as I type, I too am a Diablo fan, and I look forward to trying it out.

Leveling here is a little bit slower than Diablo, but there is more PvP, at all levels. So it fills in the blanks. Not to mention all the dungeons you can explore here, fire dungeon, ice dungeon... etc etc etc (too many to list at this hour)
The main difference between this and Diablo is the fact that this is a true mmorpg, One server, everyone at once. But it looks like Diablo graphically, and feels like Diablo gameplay wise. PvP is fun with the realms, and the weekly wars (on the old server, and realm wars used to happen every saturday afternoon) really spices things up.

The game has a much higher frame rate than what the movie shows, and PvP is definately not like that at all.

This game looks like Lineage, which was one of the best games ever IMO. Graphically impressive... no, hella fun... yes
Got my code, the server is going live at 9PM EST, so like 7.5 hours from now.
Wow, I would never of bothered to put DR up to par with Linage II.
On the other hand, I guess it's nice holding such high regards for a game, It must be a hard to keep your hopes up, Only to see them fall crash and burn.
But anyway, I aswell am looking forward to trying this game, not because it's "uber awesome", or "diablo spinoff", but because I'm craving a game I can sink my teath into, ya know?
Anyway, Congrats on whoever took the time to get a key, I'm sure I'll make a mmorpg.com guild and let us all show them asians who's boss when it comes to MMO's. Can I get a Booya!

I love this game! its a must play game for those that like PvP with nice wars where alot of people are attacking eachother at once.. in the old servers there was a war called snow war for only lvl 60 and below, so you dont have to worry about being too low lvl to have some PvP fun.. though if you like your graphics then this is not for you (remember this is NOT a new game, its been out for years and is still going).
Just do one thing, dont judge until you have tryed it, screenshots dont give it justice.

I am definately playing when it comes up tonight.
The hype is really realistic and cool, its not like OMG THIS IS GOING TO CHANGE MMORPGS AND THERE IS LEET NEW THINGS LIKE BLAH.
I really enjoyed diablo 2, and I hope this game plays similarly. Minus the joining of games and stuff.
Graphics are pretty important to a game, but having 2D graphics doesnt automatically kill a game. It can be done extremely well, like in Ragnarok or Diablo 2.
Heh i guess " nostalgia " got the better of me.....for those that really love the old school 2d mmorpgs , then this is perfect for you..being free will no doubt keep it populated.
I spent 5mins in game...guess i have gotten used to 3D fully rotating worlds now. Afterall the damn cash i have wasted upgrading my PC , i'm going to make sure it's earning it's keep.
P.S My PC actually cried when i logged into game...

I am sorry but if they dont give new players some info it will be almost impossible to play.
If anyone on these forums can help me out maybe I can give it another shot. But as of now I did not have any fun at all in game.
Don't know if it was just me expecting too much, but this has got to be the worst mmorpg game I have ever had the misfortune to try out. I know you shouldn't expect too much from a free game, but boy, this one sucks. The option to enter the biginners guide crashes the game to desktop, so you enter the world without a clue what you are supposed to be doing. I made a mage character but was unnable to work out how to get spells.
On entering the beginners area there are targets that you can whack to gain exp, these are surrounded by macroers, the macros are even posted on the website to help you out! The ingame information is so poorly translated that it is almost impossible to work out what to do. When I died in game, a little sprite popped up to show my ghost how to get to a temple to res. however it didn't do that, it sent me to the edge of the map and hovered around there. When I finally worked out I had to make my own way to a vlage to get my rez, I followed the sprite again who then ran into a cliff and stopped there.
I'm gonna see if it is possible to change the account personal details, and if so I will be willing to give the account to anybody who fancies a bit of personal torture. I had that too, poorly translated, having to click something a million times to level a weapon up and then that not having a clue what was happening when dieing. Its a pity I think it has some nice looking abilities in it(
