    I didnt like the game much myself but i've read a bunch of positive posts about Legends of Ares. I didnt experience any pvp, couldnt get past the graphics and interface, but like i said people are into it. You could give that a shot.

    I was in the closed beta, it was too crowded for me.. Maybe I'll try the open beta soon.

    Anyone else know of any?

    I use to play Dragon Raja 24/7 untill the International server went down, you can play with all of the people from International here: www.dr-int.com

    It's pretty neat, GrayWolf, Elmy, Ridman and all the other cool Yllse guy's are there. =]
    But when Int server went down I got mad because I was such a high level I don't want to do it again it took way too long.

    Positive comments about Legend of Ares? No, Sorry. The game isint even worth the download. The camera in the game is so bad I cant even put it into words. Had this game been made 10 years ago to comply with its outdated graphics it might be worth mentioning.

    Shadowbane is hugely PvP centered.Its not in beta though its just free.

    I would try either Dark Age of Camelot, or Lineage 2 for good PvP. Dark Age of Camelot has a 14 Day Free trial, but Lineage2 does not. Shadowbane was a flop as far as I am concerned. But that is only my opinion.

    lineage 2 for sure, its the most AMAZING realistic and pvp based game i have ever played in my entire life.

    I agree with DAoC, but only get Lineage 2 if you can stomach un godly amounts of time grinding.

    right now i would play legend of ares til something better comes along. you start pvp areas at 30-35 and it does not take more than a few good sessions to get that high.

    one thing though, there are 2 servers poseided and demeter, go to demeter. poseiden is ruined because of a bug everyone and thier brother duped all kinds of crap (steel armor demeter=200k, poseiden=20 million)

    Eudemons Online is a new PvP that is in alpha beta stage I believe... the graphics are awesome and there is a cool pet system.  Check it out.

    I'm amazed at some of the responses, at least nobody is telling you to give up and just go to WoW.

    I would say go to Shadowbane or L2 as those are the only 2 games worth playing for the pvp. I'm a huge fan of PvP and so far, the crap I've played over the last few years, doesn't cut it.

    Shadowbane is currently free but that will probably be changing soon, plus next to UO it's one of the more hardcore pvp games out there, which turns a lot of people off unfortunately, but again it's still free and they've increased the experience gains on the newest server, so leveling takes no time if you get with people that know wtf they're doing.  Hell I got from lvl 1 to 55 just today and the cap is 75 in SB.

    Anyways, I'm rambling and going off topic.  As far as open beta games, I can't think of anything wasting your time, hence, why I mentioned SB.

    I am currently playing Conquer Online and just started playing SilkRoad Online yesterday... Conquer Online wouldn't be worth recommending, however, SilkRoad is awesome.  They are both free and implement Pvp and PK...

    SilkRoad Online also gives you the option to take a job as a Hunter, you can hunt certain other players without gaining any PK  points.   Slightly off topic here... sorry... neither of them are open beta...
