    does anyone do pet battles? I have never tried it.

    i tried it in the past, it a poor mans pokeman and not as good. it can be good enough you can enjoy it but it's also annoying enough you cant just play it and enjoy it easy.

    i love the little guys i have collected and watching them fight but i felt the enemy i fought always had a edge regardless what i used maybe it got better the more you played but i never max any pets only got them to 10 ish before i lost interests.

    I have played with pet battles when I did play retail version 2-3 years ago (did not come back to it even though I play Classic since its launch till now), and it was interesting for the start. But it felt as unrealized potential to me too... There are way more things that could be done about that and make quite entertaining micro within game as result, but it feels like it was dropped in unfinished and then abandoned like many other projects within WoW. Those meddling with excising pets and modifying their characteristics is not what can potentially rise interest in pet battles, but seems that there is no real vision for the development of this area and desire to make it better. Too bad...
