    I must be suffering from Mandela effect, I thought this game was canceled long ago; or am I thinking of another Amazon game?

    I think its a good time. I feel they dropped the ball with it being only on PC though. Would go over a lot better on console for some casual evening matches in the recliner winding down after work.

    'Release' is being polite. This game has all sorts of issues. This is certainly a 'wait until it gets improved' title.

    Saturate the market until everyone burns out on these games.  Good strategy.  It worked for survival games.

    I was informed this game was made by the Devs from GW2... the same Devs that gave us the clunky ass unbalanced shit that was WvW... 

    I can't want to see how this turns out.

    Should've been PvE focused and not PvP. Too much competition on the PvP side, but there's barely any mainstream PvE games around atm.

    Apex has already dropped off a lot, Overwatch has lost a ton of players too, Fortnite is crushing it as usual and Valorant is new and going strong.

    Crucible is in no way ready to compete with any of these games

    I have no idea what interests players in a game like Fortnite....To me that is about as bad of gameplay as there is.

    I watched a streamer play for a bit yesterday and the game looked messy to me.  At this point i don't even think i am going to try it

    Lol mostly negative reviews on steam. I'm sure people are gonna take their rage up a notch and refund their pre-orders of new world.

    Be concerned about New World. Be very concerned :)

    The switch in focus from OWPvP to PvE itself didn't bother me at all but trying to rush it through to release after such a huge fundamental change does.

    Yeah game is pretty much DOA. Feels like they wanted to make a ftp battle pass game but didn't wanna invest heavily into making one. Some of the characters are fun, but it got repetitive real quick. Steam download issues and bland gameplay led to Twitch chats universally hating it within minutes, which is pretty much the kiss of death in today's multiplayer gaming landscape. Gonna be hard to recover from the bad first impression.


    Doesn't give me hope for New World.

    As you should be. Being an alpha tester of New World... All I can say is... it's not ready nor does it have any idea what it even wants to be.

    This looks to try and cash in on the "cool" factor more than the game play design.

    First of all,you NEED Zaxis for good pvp shooters.This is an outdoor map game that sacrifices pro map design by simply allowing you to fly in the air...sigh.

    So when i look at the design of a pvp shooter,i can tell right away if they have a clue how to design a serious shooter or if they are aiming for the COOL,the emotes,the cool Heroes,fancy outfits etc etc.

    I get it,if you prefer the COOL factor,go for it,me i only like the more serious side of gaming,at least when comes to pvp shooters.

    I saw a lot of negativity lately, however their core playerbase comes from failed games such as Gigantic, Battleborn and Paragon, so they have completely different playerbase, it's not gonna be big as Overwatch or Fortnite, but I hope it will keep numbers around 5k mark. I will give it a try, not gonna judge it from trailers or streamers perspective.

    You still need to have a good game before all the twitch integration means anything.

    They failed at step 1 - game isnt good
    Yeah I know but that makes it even funnier especially since all indications point to them striking out yet again with New World.

    Their LOTR game better be an outstanding success or this may be the shortest lived AAA gaming studio ever.

    From what i've seen, game looks pretty cheap...nothing big, this one will be forgotten soon or it's gonna keep it's own little playerbase but yeah..
