Its look like a closed surviving game for me or very similar. Thats what we exactly need an other survivor game. Someone needs money in pocket come on guys buy founder packs asap.
Apparently someone got up one day and thought that what the world really needed was yet another crowdfunded survival game in early access that the developers thought they could build on a $50k budget. How did that happen? And it's not even in early access yet, but they're hoping to get there by fall.
I think it looks less like WoW and instead almost exactly like Dauntless, which I kinda like and in the video shown it already looks more polished and 'playable' then Scamlyria and Scamfall so lets hope this one might turn out to be an actual game.
Until then they ofc won't see a single cent from me (which it seems they won't need as it's already at 231% funded because people will NEVER learn -_-)
Yet another lazy excuse for a game under the genre "sandbox" aka a game about nothing, with no gameplay, no quests, nothing - just PvP, crafting and a randomly generated map thrown in together.
That's a work of lazy developers who set out to create and MMORPG, realized that it's a lot harder, not like in their imagination, then switched to "sandbox", because that's only 5% of the work required for a real MMORPG.
These games about nothing are like the Battle Royale to FPS, but here are the same equivalent compared to MMORPGs - zero content, zero effort, game made in like a week.
Population Zero launched less than a month ago and is a complete failure, because people realize there is nothing to do in the game and they charge you to play the game.
Ignoring the marketing style text which is humorous, I don't think that this is as bad as some people here make it sound to be. And since they are funded, time will be the judge of that. I would love to know where Allyynd_01 is getting their info from, cause it seems to contradict what is announced. (Though please do correct me if I'm wrong, I may have missed something somewhere?)
On the feature front they have mentioned quite a bit, quests, farming, crafting, regular MMO stuff like dungeons, and what have you. Though what interests me the most is the resetting timeline that has some impact on the players progress. That is something that I'm curious about as the idea has a certain degree of charm to it, and I'd personally love to see it be implemented well, something that is not that common.
