Bless Unleashed has been out for two months, and after a few review in progress notes, Bradford is finally ready to give a final verdict on the Xbox One Free-to-play exclusive.

Even characters and their armors and weapons look so fancy like they are some kind of annoying bourgeoisie who are really spoiled, always complaining about getting mud on their clothes and whatever comes to their mind and don't even want to fight.
I've encountered a few games with such art style, they were all Asian and this aesthetic is really disgusting to me. Even if they made that game F2P, I would never touch it because of that style.
As for Bless Online that was on Steam, I had issues with the stupid combat and another issue was like in ArcheAge and Black Desert - the world feels really empty and generic - everything is a generic forest - so many zones are copy of each other and if you climb on the mountains and other places where you aren't intended to go, there is absolutely nothing - just a generic ground texture, no trees or rocks, nothing. For this reason the world looks really fake and underdeveloped, I absolutely detest those games for this.
Mend and Defend
EQ1, EQ2, SWG, SWTOR, GW, GW2 CoH, CoV, FFXI, WoW, CO, War,TSW and a slew of free trials and beta tests
I was stuck for 3-4 weeks at a single story quest (doing regional quests for tokens) and once I finally made it through, I just hit the next grind (doing world bosses for other tokens).
I haven't played since then and it kinda feels good not to have to login to exchange my daily star seeds after all.
I agree it is rubbish but lets calm down on the drama, this is not Twitter.
Does that really make sense? It's "fantasy." It can be anything. It should be congruent to its own world building but other than that "anything."
I don't think it's deformed perspective so much as them taking a style and building on it. It's most likely no different than a western company making a video game (or movie) using Eastern art design and having it take place in china only it looks Korean.

Should just take Bless out of the name.. because nothing about this title has been blessed!
You know a game has failed when you have more fun after you quit playing. When you win by not starting in the first place.
It's not just one game, it's pretty much every Asian MMO trying to create a Western style fantasy, to name a few - Cabal 2, Lineage 2, Forsaken World, Karos, ArcheAge, Black Desert, Silkroad Online and others I can't remember...
It's not one game, it's every Asian game that ever existed. It's like they don't know anything else. Have you watched Fantasy-themed animes? Until recently with a few exception the same style was dominant there as well. It's like the people there don't know anything else, kinda like the reverse stereotype that we think Asia is chopsticks, rice, scooters and katana swords.
The thing is they could make the game in oriental/Asian style where they know exactly what they're doing and will be a better received game, because a lot of people are itching to play a good oriental themed game like Silkroad, Age of Wushu or Blade & Soul, only more modern.
they got the mystic? ( PC version never saw it in 1year of life, if i remember correctly )
trap of traps
LOL! Wow, that's some harsh criticism there. I didn't have any bias going into bless unleashed since I never played the PC version. I played the game for a couple months since it cost me all the energy it takes to hit the download option on my PS4. Since I'm not in the mood to write an essay and the review is already above I will just say my biggest complaints were:
The feeling of not being properly rewarded.
Too grindy.
No endgame.
At the end of the day all the game cost me was my time so I thank the devs for allowing me to play their game and give my feedback and asking for no actual money in return. Might even return to it one day if the above issues are better addressed in later versions.
