    I would say so but it depends on one's taste.

    Not a fan of the name either. Sounds too close to City of Heroes.

    Kinda the point. That whole "spiritual successor" and nostalgia.

    @LeiHngWei I'm not buying it. I mean you could make a spiritual successor to a game without ripping off part of the name. Imagine a spiritual successor to Star Wars Galaxies being named "Space Wars Galaxies" lol

    Seems like it would have been much easier to be a spiritual successor and nostalgia if City of Heroes was actually dead.

    Instead we have City of Heroes emu servers that make Ship of Heroes, Valiance Online and City of Titans all look like sad college projects that will never amount to anything compared to the original.

    Spiritual successor looks a lot more like weak imitation.

    My concern with the game revolves around the quality of lore and writing, lame supers names is not a good look. Supers games can be inspiring with the right background and lore, they may have already missed that boat.

    I would consider that concern way more valid than you think.

    They named the game Ship of Heroes for crying out loud.

    I honestly wonder if they even have a story or line up of signature heroes and villains. Right now it just looks like they are going with City of Heroes only in space but it doesn't matter because you will still be in what looks like city scapes where you street sweep and clean out warehouses full of bad guys.

    I would love to have more awesome super hero games but just the basic premise of this game is beyond stupid.

    If there was a giant spaceship full of super heroes the last thing they would be doing is bringing along multiple gangs and villain organizations so the super heroes could wipe them out.

    Really the only good setup going on here is if they have an expansion where they find a planet.
