Couldn't agree more about this. Getting really tired of all the virtue-signaling. All these people an companies aren't doing anything to actually effect change. It's just something for them to be able to say well I stood behind you and make themselves feel better in the end. Enough politics, back to something other than all the issues the world has.
You want me to dislike the cops? I already disliked them well before you were born. Looting, unprovoked violence against innocent people, and destroying businesses and communities isn't something I will ever get behind. Your cultist ideal of blackness that comes from white fascist professors does not magically change my skin hue.
Since I am not a racist I don't care what color my skin is, neither do I care what color the skin of anyone else is. If your end game for race isn't where I am now (where it doesn't matter at all to any sane, normal, or rational person), then what is it? I like some people, I dislike most people, and all of this is based on the person and not their skin hue. If someone is a PC user and not a savage barbarian console or apple user that makes much more sense for liking or not liking them than skin hue. Just as I agree with people more who like my type of rpg more than if they like pretend rpgs or rpg lite tripe.
I really hope one day you can stop seeing everything through such a ridiculous lens of hyper racial bullshit and can start seeing everyone is their own person with agency and autonomy and you stop being such a racist. Hey, I'm glad you get to do that. Just remember not everyone is in YOUR position so no matter how tired you are of it, it won't stop until change happens. Get used to it. This is going to be how it is for a while. The only way to avoid it is to cut yourself off from the world. This is going to be a while. These companies could say nothing too so I'm glad they are raising awareness because people who think "it doesn't matter" wouldn't lift a finger to change a thing. Virtue Signal or not, this is important for millions of people.
Not all of us get to say "Enough Politics" because our real life is being affected by current politics sadly.

The other side of the story is 66% of black male get pulled over by the police often even though they are law abiding.
Most of these argument run in circle. It is all about what you emphasis on. Some people think the crime rate in the black community is the problem people should emphasize on. Other people think unfair treatment on black person and racial tension is more important. And the argument run in circle.

It's very clear. Black men are policed differently than white males. Bottom line. White males commit the same exact crimes. They are just treated differently. Black men are just policed way more aggressively.
Ask yourself why.
The whole black on black crime thing is a myth that was painted of us when they started redlining. It's a myth that feeds into the "Black People are Dangerous" narrative. Black people don't do crime any more than whites.
The white male number should be much higher but because they are white in America it's not. Don't forget that starting around the early 1900s black men were being tossed into jail for the slightest thing, like looking at a white woman or simply being black in a white neighborhood because of Redlining. There are also a lot of innocent black men serving life sentences. So your numbers are jumbled and incorrect no matter where they came from.
White males commit domestic terrorism where they kill people in Mass Amounts. They are still treated better than a black male who was pulled over for expired tags. The FBI has not called white men Terrorists even though they commit all the mass killings in America.
It's not a circular argument with normal people. Normal people see the pattern. The ones who don't see it, DONT WANT to see it. It's very clear.
The issue isn't how much crime black men commit. White men commit crimes also. The issue is how long we have been put into a position to have to RESORT to commit crimes. A position was given to us because of our race. That whole pull yourself up by your bootstraps doesn't work when they won't allow you to have boots. Poor whites are in a better position than Poor Blacks, so it's not a class thing either. Rich Blacks can still get killed by Police Brutality so it's not a money thing. Its 100% a race thing.
America has a race issue and it been that way for a LONG time. Americ's race issue is the root of 80% of its issues. You do know that the national anthem is racist? It's the reason they don't say the second verse.. you do know that when they wrote "We the people" blacks were slaves so they didn't mean us because We were considered property... the money has slave owners on it.. they could have been fixed that... Confederate statues all over the south, slave market houses and plantations are national landmarks...one state has a confederate flag as its STATE flag and talks about Heritage.. man...people really act confused at our kneeling.
I can go on and on, but my point is America has let this race thing get out of control, and now it's being recognized as a world issue not just American issue but across the world people are wanting change here.

Young white men drive into the city to buy drugs, get busted by the cops and get bailed out by dad with maybe a misdemeanor and community service. Young black men sell drugs and get busted or maybe just get busted on possession but get charged with intent to sell anyway, and end up in state prison for mandatory minimums so far beyond fitting the crime. Now they'll have to struggle their whole lives to find work that pays well above the poverty level, so good luck being able to afford good housing or having access to good health care.
Huge chunks of the prison system are designed to keep people revolving back into it because they're run for profit and produce cheap labor. It hits desperate people when they're down, then keeps them down until they're desperate enough to break a law and hits them again.
Anyone serving a prison sentence for nonviolent possession of weed in a state that has since legalized or decriminalized it should be released and have it expunged from their criminal record. Then we'll see how high that per capita felony percentage stacks up.

So it is weird when people say black people intend to "sell" drugs and they get charged with felony instead of misdemeanor. When you sell drug that is pretty much a felony charge.
The break in the argument is weather black men commits more crime. Some people believe so, some people don't.

The 13th amendment states that "Slavery or Involuntary servitude is illegal in the US unless its a punishment for committing a crime". This means that after all the slaves were "freed" white America was in fear of the Economy collapsing without all the free labor. So they started arresting black people for petty crimes such as loitering, fitting the "vague description" of a criminal, and even homelessness.
This was the start of MASS INCARCERATION. It's why Black people make up around 13% of the US Population but over 70% of the US prison population. Its because America has never been able to be Economically stable without benefiting from free labor and slavery.
It's not a debate. Black people don't commit more crimes, we just get arrested more.
