I am still looking forward to this. I'm playing PSO2 and I waited for ages for that one so what is a couple of years?

Its wont dead as its new fresh mmo when it come to west.
This is the hype people looking for as the major and only minor serious stay on a game for 10 years.

I played the ru version months ago, game is fun for a couple of hours but that's about it, totally forgot everything about the game.

Arpg+oversized weapons, that is two real good reasons to forget this game.
I was just confused thinking, this can't be a JPN game no way.So i had to Google, never thought of simply searching Smilegate but anyhow found it...KR developer, exactly what it looks like.
Well at least the KR devs are right on par with devs over here, they are not creative either, same old tropes, same old song n dance.

Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.

I really want this to come to the west. I played the Russian version for a few minutes but decided to uninstall it and wait because I could feel myself getting sucked in to it but didn't want to ruin the new experience by playing a sub-par version of the game. I reallllyyyyy want this to come here

Damn.  they really have no faith that they can rework a game built around P2W to actually work in the West.  It's shocking that wolcen was the first ARPG with semi modern graphics to release in the west.

I watched quite a few streams of westerners playing in Korea.  It really didn't look like it had a great game loop.  The ilvl upgrading system was a big turnoff.  It would have been a nice diversion a year or so ago.   But by the time it releases in the West, POE 2.0 will likely already be out.

This is exactly why Asian developers increasingly see the Western market as an afterthought. The Western playerbase hates absolutely everything developers throw, it's impossible to get clear feedback.

We are clear in our hate of P2W.  We also didn't really see anything worthwhile in crap like Mu Legends and Devilian.  Maybe it's just easier to translate non P2W games (i.e. POE) to be P2W in countries like China than vice versa.

There was plenty of money to be had even if they kept it P2W and just localized it for the west.  But blaming the west for their ARPG failures falls flat when you consider how much later their games arrive here and the state they tend to be in.
