the combat is the fastest action turn based ive seen yet ...more hectic on harder settings imho then even a FPS game ...
the combat mechanics or strategy are good .. waay better than swg was or is ... but not as good as Eq2 was .. ( i played 3 months after release .. dont know how eq2 is now, but i left after sony started messing stuff up in the game ).. as in it did take a more thought out group ( in eq2)( having to think out what classes to bring into your group to make is sucessfull ) and fighting the mob each class did have their role ...but the action in city of villains is like 100 times faster and more hardcore than eq2 ever was ...
Played WoW for about a month when it came out but quit before it turned my brain to mush. Dabbled with AO but it wasn't my kind of game, and I've played Planetside on and off for the past few years.
Other than having tried the free trial of DnD, none. Have not found one yet that has captured my attention outside of what I percieve to be the same, tired, mmorpg coming out.
However, watching the following:
Spellborn
Lord of the Rings
Vanguard

Currently playing my 2 eve accounts. I bought retail EQ2 with DoF a while ago, going to try it out as soon as my DSL and new gfx card comes. I hope I like it.
FlyFF. (Fly for Fun) There's just something.....appealing about this game.
Trying out WW2 Online. First minute I get killed in some army base in Paal. Doesn't tell me WTF killed me,just that you died. (thanks a lot!) Later on I find out the Axis are pushing on Paal. I'm blaming a plane bomb as I was indoors. Bar that, very very impressed by the large-scale PvP system, even though I get the feeling it reminds me more of WW1 trenches than WW2 at the moment. One I shall try to live through longer.
Trying out Legend of Ares. Seems ok,but apparently the server I'm on is run by dupers and so far I sense the community is below-par for niceness. Not one I'll be sticking with, probably. The PvP sounds OK though.
Got an EVE account on freeze for when WOW kicks the bucket.
And some CSS; arcade gameplay and tactical realism in one neat package.
Face of Mankind is P2P; well, that's that over with.
So basically I'm a casual MMORPG player who spreads out across too many games. Of course,I don't play them all at once; I only returned back to FlyFF last night thanks to my own words describing it on WOW guild chat. Casual step-in,step-out approach.
FFXI - This one never gets boring with all the updates, expansions and the great Linkshell (guild) i run there. EQ2 - Absolutely fun if i dont have much time and want some more action oriented gameplay. Also have a really great guild there. SoR - When i want something calm and relaxing. Grab a Packer Mule and explore to find new rare Harvest and sometimes just it around enjoying the surreal environment and chatting with the guild.
Recently trashed:
DDO - Grinding and repeating Quests starts at level 4, 155 Quests and 10 levels, Only Quests nothing else does not make a MMORPG. WoW - Point and click crafting, same Quest recycled throughout the game. Could not identify with the Character models at all. No immersion, too simple for my taste. Awefull comunity. Silkroad - Beats WoW on mind numbing quests and grinding mobs for exp. Yeah it is possible. Awefull movement and incredible Lag.

I'm still playing Everquest II (since launch) and enjoying it. I also just resubscribed to Saga of Ryzom and plan to play it until Vanguard comes.
I log into Auto Assault often for some good fun blasting things.

More like trying to get enough posts to get a high enough rating to review a game
But, in answer to your question, it's in my sig.
Currently Playing: Dungeons and Dragons Online.
Sig image Pending
Still in: A couple Betas
At the moment, none *sighs in a discouraged way*
I've played (not necessarily in this order)
and I've beta-tested and sampled a bunch of others that weren't worth spending more time or money (Tales in the Dessert is awful, BTW).
I'm watching a few but looks like anything that MIGHT have potential (for me) won't be out for at least 6-9 months.
so... I troll the boards.
