    Definition of Masochism by Merriam-Webster (1) : the derivation of sexual gratification from being subjected to physical pain or humiliation by oneself or another person, (2) : pleasure in being abused or dominated : a taste for suffering. Should petition them to add 'fresh start' as a synonym for it.

    I have to be missing something, right? I bought this game for 20 dollars on steam and jumped in blind knowing nothing about it just cause it was on sale at the time.

    When I finally did get in game what I found was a poorly translated mess of a MMO that was some kind of painful crossing of rpg and survival.

    Which, fine, but it just felt.. cheaply made.

    How do they even have the numbers for a reboot of the servers like this? Won't this be splitting the populations up? How is the game still going? I will admit maybe I am missing something because I could only get so far into this, for lack of a better term, cheap plastic like game before I uninstalled and never looked backed.

    It has a good farming and trading system. I enjoyed that and the only thing I liked. You own land and you can plant a host of stuff. Problem is there is a limitation structured around a very restrictive energy system.

    Land Rush is one of the cause of the game death, and they are promoting it. Stupid multiply by stupid = stupid square

    feel sorry for this game has been launched , relaunched , re-relaunched , and again again again....they open new servers once or twice a year ? feels like

    why ppl keep failing for that? idk , must be deseperate or something

    I think there are players who enjoy the initial struggle to get the resources and start trading. I would not mind it at all. It is not the same as starting a new class every time the game relaunches. Perhaps the interest for me is the growing of crops and building of wagons and such that hold more sway in this game.

    You pick different places to start a farm but unfortunately the energy squeeze is simply too frightful.

    Can you really in EvE avoid all PvP if you want ? That game has often intrigued me from the beta I was in but I was not so keen about playing a ship but over the years I have been interested in the resource and trading part of the game.

    Archeage you can avoid PvP quite easily in that. Just need patience.
