    This has low ratings on Steam, and rightly so. It went from F2P to B2P with F2P mechanics still intact.

    The same guys that made T1 and T2. But this time PWE owns them so it shouldn't surprise anyone that it turned into crap.

    I hate so much the "Early access" safe pass, the game in its core is flawed that's not something a couple of tweaks can fix.

    I feel a little bad for the devs as I've seen other games spit out into Early Access that don't get nearly as bad of a rap and get much more leeway being EA. Maybe it's the cost or the TL name being attached.

    That said, having been in the alpha for a while and seeing the changes they've made over a year, and this is where they've ended up? I have no hope for this game anymore.

    Sad, I really love the other torchlight games. I really wanted to love TL3.

    Level 35, finished all current content, loved every minute of the 20 hours invested thus far, bring on act 3 and end game!

    Good thing i wasn't eating ,i might have choked on that lol.

    I could have swore i saw they were a corporation and i noticed what looked like a German partner.Last i checked a Corporation was NOT individual ownership.

    "creativity" that part is almost funnier,an ARPG that is creative?I was checking out reviews from past TL games and one dude said "it's an ok game but it plays like Diablo"LMAO.

    SO both the old Runic and Echtra was a subsidiary of perfect World and Schaefer was involved with both.This just smells of a sketchy business infrastructure.What did they do claim bankruptcy with Runic and move to a different state for Echtra?Why would PW retain this Schaefer dude if his business went under?Something just doesn't seem right here,my spidey senses are tingling.

    All you people are such band wagon cry babies.

    Early access is awesome and great chance to play and test a game early. This one is no different. It only cost $30 and is a ton of fun to play.

    All band wagoners saying it plays like a mobile port are wrong. It plays like an arpg plain and simple.

    Ive put 50 hours into TL3 and its been alot of fun even with the bugs.

    Its Early Access not sure why people think it should play like a finished game. Join discord and you can chat with the Devs. They are always on and super funny. Ive even got to chat with the main man Max.

    If you enjoy isometric arpgs then this is a fun game to play...but its ea so get your expectations in check.

    Hob was the last game that the Runic team did. TL3 is PWE. So, I wouldn't support the game or the devs of this product for that reason. Same guy in charge so it's just a way to make money instead of a working game.

    This isn't a signature, you just think it is.

    No, to all you just posted. I have played pretty much every ARPG under the sun, been in dozens upon dozens of CF, EA and alpha games, this game just isn’t good, its core gameplay loop lacking, no charm or distinguishing features. Glad you enjoy it, many don’t.

    'This does not apply just to ED but SC or any other game. What they will get is Rebirth/X4, likely prettier but equally underwhelming and pointless. 

    It is incredibly difficult to design some meaningfull leg content that would fit a space ship game - simply because it is not a leg game.

    It is just huge resource waste....'

    i actually was intressed to play torchlight frontier when it was suppose to go as a mmorpg type, but now its a typical boring same concept arpg with nothing news... people to scared to try something new and fall back to same boring element

    The game is good. It is not finished and it needs a lot of bugfixing, more skills and more content but the core is solid.

    Lol newbie account to praise Early Access (the latest gaming industry scam after "service games") and a game that its bland/uninspired/boring at its core and has no way of getting better without a complete overhaul.

    Im glad that you like talking to people so much. Go get social media apps. I like playing ARPGs. This one at its current state is bad (like a 4.5/10 bad) and unless they start it from scratch it will never get beyond a mediocre game at best.

    Its sad, it hurts fans & devs, but thats reality.
