Looks really good, the game is picking up. I'm craving to play fresh MMO and it looks like New World is going to finally scratch that itch. Western made MMO without all that p2w lockboxes bullshit is what we need badly and even if the game won't be complete at launch (seems like it's their philosophy anyway, release it first and act accordingly), Amazon has money to burn. There is potential.
Looking forward to playing this game. Hope they will continue to develop it after release.
Thats the only hope this game has, continued development. IMO, development that should have happened before they released the game. Funny at this point Pantheon has more content for players then New World.

Hopeing Pantheon makes it to release. I will be farming mobs in New World to pass the time. I have been playing EQ lately, leveling up a Wizard.
"Endless progression", I shiver when I hear those words in relation to an mmo.
Basically it means the world is dominated by no-lifers and cuts out any chance of new players or people with jobs from ever really enjoying the game.
How, In a PVE focused game, does a player having more power than you because they played more diminish your personal enjoyment?
is it an envy thing?
Well I think such a system would be bad in a pve mmo as well, but I would be playing this game mainly for the pvp so yes it is an issue for me.
When ESO first went to the Champion Points system they foolishly went with a (nearly) endless progression system. That didn't last long before they capped it. You can still earn CP beyond the cap although it gets very slow at that point, but they limited how many you can use and increase that max a couple of times a year.
But for this game, as far as I know, levels are capped. The endless bit in this story is talking just about crafting I think.
Anyway, you have to be ultra casual or new to MMOs not to see the foolishness of endless power progression in any competitive environment be it PvP or spots on the Raid for PvE.
