Legacy are the powers that be... We, I mean they, just have a recent "frienemy" status with Goons because a couple years back when PanFam and Skill Urself attempted to take all of nullsec for the nolife alliances, Imperium and Legacy teamed up and made them cry
Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and not clothed.
This has the potential to be the largest war in many years. Goonswarm have been building up in safety in "Fortress Delve", and Test Alliance just won a long and serious war with Fraternity, and are in fighting shape. The number of players joining fleets, and the extent to which the two groups commit capital and supercapital assets will be key.
Dreddit, the chief player corporation in Test Alliance, is recruiting players new and old who want to get in on the fun. It's a bit of a meme, really. http://isdredditrecruiting.com/
If you're thinking to jump into Eve for the first time, come say hi in our Discord https://discord.com/invite/GDqJWY3. We can get you set up and answer any questions you might have. Even a brand-new character can be useful in fleets. We give out free ships and skillbooks to newer players, and have skill plan tools to help you plan what skills to train. We're a surprisingly close-knit corp, and you'll see the same names all over. Lots of friendly people, and corp rules against the type of bad behavior you see all too often in online games.
Dreddit has a mentorship program to help new players get integrated in the war machine, as well as the social apparatus of the corp and alliance. They can help you learn to make ISK (the money in Eve), how to fight, and how to win. The learning curve you've heard about is real, but with support anyone can thrive.
For seasoned or returning players, we have SRP, extensive PVE space, a huge jump bridge network, Special Interest Groups for cloaky shenanigans, high-skill PVP, capitals, supercapitals, spying, reconnaissance, and more. Dreddit makes it easy to become a Fleet Commander, with training, SRP for your fleets, and (after a bit) rights to ping fleets to 4,000+ players.
