A Total War Saga: Troy pits players in the roles of the Epic Heroes that shaped the stories of Homer in the Iliad. Creative Assembly Sofia is bringing players to Anquitiy and playing out the drama in the Aegean Sea. We were able to go hands on last week with the latest Total War Saga game, as well as dive a bit deeper with Maya Georgieva, game director on TROY.

    I love the Total War series and this certainly has my attention. Since ancient Greece is involved it hits another huge likable area for me. I honestly can't wait for this game and I looking forward to the experience. The writer's experience sounds like just what I would expect.

    Homer was biased towards Greeks as opposed to Trojans being what? Aliens?

    If anyone is interested in this game, mark your calendars for August 13. Total War Troy will be FREE to claim on launch day (for the first 24 hours) through the Epic Game Store.

    Unlike all the other poems in the world that poets make for cultures other than their own.

    It's interesting that they have heavily emphasised the historical side of the Trojan wars when there is not much evidence to go on. The legendary evidence is greater, though supposedly it is rather "biased". Perhaps we should be seeking an account from the ancient Chinese or the like. :)
