Grinding Gear Games has decreed that a macOS version of Path of Exile will launch September 2020. The release of the Mac version is aimed to arrive once the latest expansion for the popular ARPG has launched.

    Vulkan should let it run on anything with the horsepower, so that's neat.

    This is awesome! This also means that they have an opportunity to bring Path of Exile to iOS / iPadOS / tvOS devices when Apple switches it's Macs to their own SoCs. I guess nothing is really stopping them from working on this now.

    I can't wait to see what tricks Grinding Gear Games can do on Metal based devices, if they go that route.
