CAN'T WAIT TO PLAY THIS ON THE CAN!!!! On a more serious note, I'm sure Blizzard's real market for this (China) can't wait.

Reporter: What's behind Blizzard success, and how do you make your gamers happy?
Blizzard Boss: Making gamers happy is not my concern, making money.. yes!

I am sure China can provide some cheap Xiaomi smartphones super cheap (some spyware included TM)
No way close that it'll fail though. Mobile makes some crazy money.

With games like Dead Matter, Marvel's Avengers, & Cyberpunk 2077 (to name a few) on the horizon.. it's safe to say this game missed it's window of opportunity.

If anyone thinks this is going to fail, you're lying to yourself.

Like it or not, the mobile market is huge. Bigger than PC. Micro-transactions are the way companies are going because it's where the money is, and the mobile market is BOOMING. It's like this decade's gold rush.

I predict this game is going to be their best net-gross game.

Bah. All you doom and gloomers. Blizzard is just working in conjunction with Apple. This will be able to run on any ARM device, like the iphone, or the new Macbook Pro's.

The truth is somewhere inbetween. Mobile games can make disgusting amounts of money, but they are also a very saturated market. Mobile games fail to meet expectations all the time, and IP that are successful in the mainstream gaming market are not guaranteed to be recognizable to mobile gamers.

We literally just saw Konami shutter a Castlevania mobile game within a year of its launch. Nintendo's Mario efforts on mobile, even Mario Kart, aren't meeting expectations. Gaming IPs don't get much more prestigious or legacy than that.

Well Mario Kart wasn't very well done, and cumbersome to play, but a new update recently fixed that. So who is to say whether it will rise or not.

But there are plenty of games out there that don't do particularly well, but only large studios seem to shutter games completely, whereas many games just sit there on the market whether or not they are big successes.

I sorta hope it fails the shift to phones is not good for pc gaming at all. And if it is successful it could push blizzard to putting a larger focus into the mobile platform instead of pc platform.

I honestly expect it to print money for blizz though it is a diablo. Look how much d3 made and it was horrible compaired to the rest of the series.

I personally can't wait to play a Blizzard quality game on my tablet or on my phone when waiting somewhere (in a queue, doctor, etc...).

They are laughing at people like you since 1991 ;)

Imagine thinking blizzard cares enough to laugh. They won't even pay their employees lol.
