Patch on a CD

My friend is just starting WoW and when you do you have to download this huge patch, like 359Mb or something like that. Well he only has dial-up and it would take him a little over a week to download it, without ever turning off the computer, so he has asked me to download it for him. Is this possible and how?

Im pretty sure the blizzard downloader will download the patch into one run-able file.  If you have a cd burner you could then just copy the whole file onto the cd and your friend can run it from the cd.

If the downloader doesnt put it into one file then fileplanet.com should have the patches available for download and then burning those files onto a cd and having your fiend do it from there.

Thanks for the quick reply everyone. Where do I burn from?  What the directory? Where does the patch get sent to? And when I give him the CD how does he load it?

The patch is sent to the Wow root directory. "C:Program FilesWorld of Warcraft" That is where it's located on my computer. Usually the patches are called something like  "WoW-1.10.0-enGB-patch"  or similar. If you have  many patch files make  sure you have all from the first patch to the last one. When he wants to run it he just double clicks the patch file(s). Like a normal setup or exe file.
