Marvel's Avengers September 4th launch is coming up pretty shortly here and the recent announcement of Hawkeye as DLC character has wheels spinning in my head. What other characters would I like to see added to the game? These are some of my picks.

    Sigh you had to include a War Machine video from Marvel Heroes. I hated Gazillion after Brevik left but I did love that game. Shame its one that will likely never get an emulated server ala City of Heroes.

    However my list that fits:

    Daredevil
    Luke Cage
    Dr Strange
    Quake
    Winter Soldier
    Scarlett Witch
    Vision
    Spiderman (I'm a pc player and not buying the game because of this)
    Wasp
    Quicksilver
    Blue Marvel
    FF4 (all of them)
    Black Panther
    AntMan

    My list that probably doesn't fit (mutant/cosmic):

    Silver Surfer
    Adam Warlock
    Star Lord
    Gamora
    Drax
    Rocket & Groot
    Nova
    Hyperion
    Sentry
    Black Bolt
    Jean Grey
    Wolverine
    Iceman
    Beast
    Bishop
    Nightcrawler
    Colossus
    Storm
    Rogue
    Gambit
    Cable
    Warpath

    And the list goes on. I do think my doesn't fit list really wouldn't fit this game but hey its a wishlist right.

    I am going to say this first. The game is running great on my PC this time around. Night and day

    My top ten are

    1. Vision
    2. Dr. Strange
    3. Scarlet Witch
    4. Quicksilver
    5. Black Panther
    6. Wonder Man
    7. Ant Man
    8. Falcon
    9. Black Knight
    10. Hercules
    Time you enjoy wasting...is not wasted time

    Idk... 3 of those are SHIELD, not rly Avengers... although, I guess Ms Marvel did spend ample time on the Avengers roster.
    I think heroes like Wasp, Ant-Man, Vision, Scarlet Witch are more appropriate... Hell, even Hercules has a significantly closer tie to the Avengers than those on this list.

    I mean, all of these characters have been Avengers. But this list isn't about what's "appropriate" it's about who I'd like to see in the game. :) It's also not exhaustive, believe me, I've got plenty more to talk about! Of the ones you listed, I'd probably only be interested in Witch, though.

    I am afraid its going to be supers 'already on film and TV' first and maybe only from those. I doubt we will get as many choices as Marvel Heroes gave us.

    If they add playable X-Men (maybe even with classic and Uncanny X-men skins) i'd be a lot more interested in this game. They haven't hooked me with what little they have shown. EDIT: Doubt it will ever happen since its an Avengers game and not an all out Marvel's

    Their license apparently extends to the entire Marvel universe. It's just a matter of what they want to do and how it works with the stories they want to tell.

    It won't. The roster is too small and you can't even play the same characters in the same area. 
    They need to work on that later on when their roster grows. I don't expect anything on the scale of MHO player numbers in said zones, but 6+ players would be plenty.

    All characters and content are free*. They only charge for costumes, emotes, and other cosmetics.

    *Spiderman is locked behind Playstation because capitalism.

    I'll be happy with some optimization on PC. I was hitting 100c on a water-cooled 9700K on medium settings, and closing in on 90c on RTX 2080 Super. Sketchy af for a game that isn't exactly pushing the boundaries of graphics technology.

    Since Scarlet Witch was data-mined and that's the one I want most, I want to see them add

    X-Men:

    Storm
    Wolverine
    Rogue
    Emma Frost/White Queen
    Firestar
    Deadpool


    To name a few...

    I actually think that's a benefit, one Wolverine is quite enough. It was the most lore breaking element of MHO and I would be glad if we left that behind.
