The requirements are surprisingly high for a game like this for memory and video card. Most people have no problem dropping a grand on a new phone every other year, but getting them to buy a $200 video card or add $60 worth of RAM? lets see how this goes...

With multiplayer i doubt these req's will be good enough, you'll like have heavy spikes of lag.A lot will depend on how much is drawn and at what distance and where the LOD drops off and by how much.

I see tons of single player games where the graphics are fog only 20-30 feet past the character so imagine multiplayer and the issues that will arise.

I would imagine these specs are for also low settings.

Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.

For some of us geezers, it's not the $200. It's having to tote our computers in and have them serviced by some kid because we don't know how. Man I hate that.

Drag it over to my house, I'll add memory or a vid to your system; Just bring pizza!

*EDIT*  Assuming of course, that driving to SE PA doesn't set you back more than the upgrade!

Its pretty, the craftings cool, the weapon choices and trees are limited, the combat incredibly bland which is why they pivoted away from being a PvP game, it just couldnt carry interest. Game ran fine on my GFX 950.

So combat is weak, build variation is minimal, pvp is lacklustre and they have a year to shoehorn PvE in to try and get people to splash cash on it. I was excited for this but have cancelled my order, 1 2 3 mash left mouse isnt an exciting way to play a game.

wow a gtx 970 as a requirement? That's quite high. ITs probably going to be a rtx 2080 as recommended

It ran fine on my Ryzen 5 2600 with a 1060 OC - 6 GB card. I do have 32 GB RAM though. I was getting 60 fps even in big battles.
