It's a pretty weird and unsettling time in this world of ours right now. With many of us hunkering down at home, things can get downright boring at times. Fortunately, if you're someone who enjoys videogames, you likely have a backlog of games to play through or even some new titles to play in the coming days and weeks.

These are some of the titles I'm playing this month.

I've been blitzing through Trails of Cold Steel 2. Almost done. Hell, I thought I was done until they pulled a post game side story and a randomly generated final dungeon on me.

Then I'm going right to Cold Steel 3. Nihon Falcom's JRPGs just grip me in a way that most RPGs don't. They've got something special that's hard to nail down. YS8 hooked me from start to finish, and now the Cold Steel series is too.

Next game I'm looking forward to is Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity, because I just love Warriors games that much. Nintendo holds them to a quality standard not seen in mainline DW or SW games.

Was playing SWToR for a few weeks. As much as I love the story, combat has made me leave the game. They have removed any challenge there was in the game. No need to care what skill you use. Everything dies in one hit.

So I have gone back to the only trinity game left to play. I'm back at WoW. Also bought Lego Indiana 1 & 2.

With the announcement of the third add-on I returned to Guild Wars 2 to finish the PoF story and all the living story content. Also I'm playing Destiny 2 story to prepare for the next add-on, currently started the Forsaken storyline. I must admit that I'm having a lot of fun with both games.

Kingdoms of Amalur Re-reckoning  (which is a joy to revisit)
FF14 with friends twice a week
Crusader Kings 3 (which is brilliant)

Crusader kings is really good i united Ireland only to have my depotic son kill me and my new wife before I could change the succession laws. SO once again i must reunite Ireland. there are a few concepts I am struggling to understand like why we cant chose and pick things that we take after a brutal war that sees you marching up and down england. The other concept I do not really like is the constant unhappiness of powerful vassals wanting to be on the council when their worthless.
I bought Amalur will give it a go tonight maybe Still have lots of homework I need to pound out this weekend.

Kingdoms of Amalur Re-Reckoning. I love it.

Remnant: From the Ashes. Again, I know.

LotRO. I was done, I swear. But then I realized I never played a stout-axe. Or a champion. So I started on a server where I have never played before with a brand new char. Low and behold, 20+ levels later I am invited to a Kinship and have been there almost every evening since.

Steamworld: Hand of Gilgamesh. Its fun, its light, its almost done too.

    /Cheers,
    Lahnmir

'This does not apply just to ED but SC or any other game. What they will get is Rebirth/X4, likely prettier but equally underwhelming and pointless.

It is incredibly difficult to design some meaningfull leg content that would fit a space ship game - simply because it is not a leg game.

It is just huge resource waste....'

    Kingdom of Amalur

But now that I see "Kano's" remsleeps mention of Bards Tale 4 director's cut I am strongly thinking of downloading that tonight.

sigh. Just not enough time for it all.

I had a friend explain this to me, but there's no way I'd be able to explain it well to you so I'll just link this:

After finishing my SPG; Drakensang: The Dark Eye I did a couple of dungeons in DDO (one's I never bought, but now have free thanks to SSG's generous offer), and then I've started Star Trek Online again.

I did the final 23 century quest for the character I had started when they made that an option, but now that that's done it's just the same old quests, so I shifted to my older character and have picked the story line back up.

    SWG (pre-cu) - AoC (pre-f2p) - PotBS (pre-boarder) - DDO - LotRO (pre-f2p) - STO (pre-f2p) - GnH (beta tester) - SWTOR - Neverwinter

Just fired up ESO again after a long absence so I'm leveling a couple of necros (magicka DPS/Healer hybrid and Stamina DPS) for the first time.

Also some Wasteland 3 and the KoA re-reckoning.

I'll main my Affliction Warlock once again, but in leveling 10 alts so far to cap, want to get all classes to cap but saving 2 for SL (Warrior and Shaman), i've picked up a Druid, and Hunter as secondary mains, and yeah Disc too for covenant coverage.

Want the prepatch to hit so i can unlock the final 2 allied races from legion, (no more rep for that) just came back to wow after a 10 year break lmao, that's a lot of rep, so come on pre-patch!

Anyone who says stuff like "Devs just aren't making good games anymore!" should check these threads each month. As PC gamers we have ... too many good games to play these days.

OP doesn't mention it but Wasteland 3 is included in Microsoft Game Pass(currently $1 for first month and $5/m after that) right now, which also gives PC titles for those that did not know this. edit: The Outer Worlds also included.

Soon to be $10/m. The "beta" designation is going away on Sept. 17 and the regular monthly price doubles at the same time.

My boys mentioned this, pay for gold up to 3 years and for a buck convert, and yep $1 you wont start paying until the sub is up.

It's like steam but everything is free. (more less ofc)

Hence "currently" but it's still an insanely great deal at $10.

Mostly been getting my dutch bucket and NFT rail aquaponics system set up. Biblical crap is coming. People need to wake the hell up and start preparing, nobody is even paying attention to the FACT a famine is coming steam rolling towards the united states. We have crops and livestock dying all across the farm belt to the heat, fires, swarms of pestilence, mid summer blizzards and nobody seems to care that their grocery bills are shooting up. When you are standing in bread lines like most of the rest of the world it will be too late.
