Having leveled 10 alts to 120 upon returning to wow bfa, this is a welcome change.

Hitting wod for example and having to do the linear start over and over gets tiring.

Reading the full post, covenants are so controversial.

I'm not fully informed on ever facet of the expansion, avoiding as much as possible, but to me the choice problem is stupid, players are so whiny, it's what you get similar to picking a class.

Players want to be able to chose from the entire collection.

My view is that it's like one class freaking out that they don't get stealth like a rogue or druid for example, or a cloth class qq that they can't wear plate, you work with what you chose, it's what makes things interesting.

What confuses me most about the controversy is that you can just change covenants. Granted it takes 2 weeks to do so, but I mean...its not a permanent choice but still has enough weight to matter short term. Seems like a good system to me but what do I know?

Sadly Wow is so far gone from its former better self.
