Bottom line is The game looks like it is shapeing up well, i'm getting pretty tired of all the whining that is going on around here if you don't like the game get out of the forum. I am not a big fan of soe i dropped my hype as did a lot of people did and made it clear that we were not too appreciative of the situation, i am still a little bit apprehensive of all of the problems that could unfold with soe on board, but this is all speculation, the game should be judged on it's content and that's why my hype is back up to where it was before. A lot of people think this game has a lot to offer and instead of discussing the game all i keep seeing are threads about how bad vanguard is by the same people who hailed it as the messiah a few weeks ago, your childish behaviour and assumptions are dominating the board go somewhere else.

to the Original Poster.. I basically see posts like yours all the time, so I dont know which is worse. But I got a tolerance now to that as well.

Besides that being said, you cant stop people from speaking their minds. Alot of people that were agaist SOE were looking for a change in a new game and Vanguard had the possiblities. Now with SOE stepping in, their HYPE of the game has gone down the Crapper. Just like many others, this forum will be like this even after the game has been released for 1 year and so on. So if your a DIEHARD Vanguard Fan, just get use to it and build a tolerance. If not, they you can try another forum as well. (the dutch door action scenario)

This forum is run by neutral individuals who doesn't care much about personal agendas of players, but who love MMOs in general. The FOH community is around, especially in the Vanguard sub-section but they are not alone (even if they have 943723943723 accounts each) and they hold no authority position.

Blind support is something that the French Kings of old did use to require, which desite all it flaws, Sigil is not that lowly. I am able to write here or on the Vanguard official forum extremely freely and I am encouraged, despite my huge disagreement with some basic aspect of the Vision(tm).

I can't post on FoH forums! And I honestly doesn't care much.

The forums here are not specifically inhabited solely by Vanguards fans, but by the MMO community at large, especially the PvP component (which I am not). Peoples are free to express themselves, as long as they follow some basics rules, which sometimes my fingers hurt (rightfully).

See, an easy chart for you to understand the forums dynamic:

MMORPG.com ----- Sigil official forums ----- SoE official forums ----- FoH trash forums.

100%----------------- 85% --------------------- 35%---------------------- 0%

That chart should helps you understand mucho stuff in the future, in doubts, refer to it. The lower score of the Sigil forum is due to two major aspects, the first been the population and the peoples frequenting it, the second been the difference between a company working on a GAME vs. a company working on FORUMS. SoE lower score, if you must know is related to all the 'propaganda' done on the forum, to ensure the image of the game is good, it is marketing-wise, it is depleted of any insight on the ressource level and reading it might lead to lazy designs.

Nice!! Are you a shrink? Seriously. I like to see more adults on here than mouthy punk kids. I particularily didn't like his post but you deserve an A+ for putting the boy in his place. Good job.

While I will mostly agree with you I will make one point. It could be the greatest game in the world however it's customer service and support can still make or break it. And that is something SOE fails at time and time again and something Sigil will not have control of.

I agree, i actually wrote the post a couple of weeks ago someone rezzed it. I thought i was quite clear that i understood the pitfulls of the Soe connection and why people were pissed off, but didn't agree with hijacking every thread. Hopefully the support and customer service will be good, if it is not you won't see me defending it, but as yet know one knows.

Well I think the CS is already doomed since in the agreement SOE handles it if I read correctly. SO at this point I think the choice will be either accept that you are going to get rather poor CS or stop following the game.

And who are YOU to tell us to do anything?

Should they decide to switch horses thats thier right, I don't see your land stake on this forum, so shush. Thats what a forum is for, to voice your opinion. Not bully people around and "shoo" them off.

The SOE move tore alot of us up, me too until I emailed legal and asked a few details which i was concerned about, they assured me things were covered and I took it at face value. As I will until they turn on me as SOE did when they had full control over SWG.

Until such time I will stay on course, I'll armorsmith and run a tavern when my guild and I make a town. So thank you for your time, "Be Well" and SOE's a farfennugin!

SOE handles "Technical" support. Examples: Scratched Disk, Missing CD-Key, Game won't Install

Sigil handles the "Cusotmer" Support. Examples: GM tickets, bugs, moderation

That isn't what I heard but if that is the case then CS has a chance of being decent. What I read SOE would be providing in game support as well as technical support.

When I heard SOE came on the scene,I immediately shook my head in disgust..The good news is this: At least they are not in charge of the development stage of Vanguard.. Thank god for that! I'm still looking forward to Vanguard and its still the number 1 game on my hype list predated 2 years ago and now..
