in Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning

I was blow away when I read this article!  I was already excited about Warhammer online, but now I am chomping at the bit.

When I read about the Squig Herder and then how the giant squid eats the Gobbo who then manipulates the Squiq from inside???  OMG I almost fell out of my chair.  Keep in mind, I am kind of new to the Warhammer universe, so I had no knowlegde of the Squig or squig herder.  That in iteslf gives me an idea of what we are looking forward to in this game.

I feel like a leetle schoolgirl!!

Could any of you Warhammer educated people please post info about other things in the Warhammer universe?  I am fascinated now.  Also, any idea how I am supposed to stay entertained with these other dull MMO's in the meantime?  It is like eating sprouts until the steak is served!

    Well the gobbos (goblins) in the warhammer table top game had a thing called a Doom Diver, which was a Goblin on a hang glider.  They used that as a kind of catapult.

    And in WAR one way that orcs will be able to travel is by catapult.  so that'll be interesting.

    There were also Squig Hoppers.  Which were brave gobbos that would jump on the squigs and try to control where they went.

    Check out Games Workshop's homepage and look up stuff about the greenskins.  They have all kinds of crazy things.

    Oh yeah. I love how fun the orks and gobbos are. Kinda bummed I'll be shoehorned into Tzeench as the Chaos God.. WHY NOT KHORNE??? It's the most popular!

    Still gonna be a freaking blast.

    Probably only given this option as Khorn the blood god says magic is for girly men, and that means you would be limited to class selection, this way you get a balance of fighting power and magics, and Tzeench is the changer of ways so its about how to balance them out witht he other races,

    Still wouldn't of minded "undevided" were all four were avalibale,

    Probably Chaos players will have to fight the others such as Nurgle and Khorn, as is the way of the chaos gods.

    And who knows? if the game is as popular as its getting the backing to be... expantion packs could crop up with new races? Skaven? Wood Elves? Britonnians? Other chaos races?

    Who knows, all we have to do now is hope and pray they get every last thing right, as people are now watching this game more and more hawk like.

    That movie trailer they released was so sweet - I was really impressed, I know it wasn't in-game stuff but wow! ::::08::

    In the demo they did say that Dryads are part of a quest in the game.

    Also we did see some artwork for Skaven.

    I do think they will try to put as much of the Warhammer Universe in the game as possible.

    As far as other playable races and classes go...time will tell.
