On November 19th of this year of this year Cyberpunk 2077 will release, and while we wait CD Project Red has had a steady stream of hype-inducing trailers and Night City Wire episodes. In the latest trailer, Keanu Reeves makes a live-action appearance to advertise the upcoming release.

    You will have 3 weeks of Shadowlands to play until Cyberpunk 2077 releases.

    Chances are, that until Cyberpunk 2077 releases, you will be bored of Shadowlands, if they repeat the BfA ..extravaganza.

    Atm I'm banking on SL over everything else, reason being is i'm unable to make single player games work for me at this time, which is kinda like last few years.

    Could not sustain with red dead on the pc, yakuza 0, mafia 1, although in a moment of nothing i tore right through Mafia 2 (DE) in a weekend binge not long back.

    Been waiting for Mafia 1 (DE) forever, the day it dropped rocked it hard that night but straight back to mmorpg land the very next day.

    It's what's working so why knock it.

    Thing with mmorpg being live games there are moments which come and go and if you missed it, well, you missed it.

    Where single player games, Mafia 1 ain't going no where, same as yakuza 0, red dead, they are all top shelf impressive. I am so impressed with the Mafia 1 DE, i mean it felt like i just played it yesterday, but the world is so much more immersive, kudos Hangar 13 you didn't disappoint, thank you for this!

    I will play them one day and when i do the only thing which "may have changed" is less bugs with a patch or two, but atm it's that progression, it's my vice lmao! uuggggggg

    They barely spent any money on advertising.. if you think that making a 30 sec trailer with the same footage that they've shown already is time consuming & costly, you are hella wrong :D

    I dont get why people are that upset that they want people to finish there story because they are proud of it and they hope a shorter run time helps with that. It's not like they haven't said there will be tons of side quests and activities which were the bread and butter of Witcher 3 anyway.

    Besides this game is going more for replayability anyway with its various character choices and ways to complete a mission a longer run time would turn people away from playing the game more than twice if even once
    Besides they haven't said it's short, just shorter than the W3 main story which was very, very long. People just ran with that and translated it into "it's short".

    The CP77 main story could be very long itself and still shorter than W3's.

    I think some of us are not that much into replayability in our single player games. I myself prefer a longer story rather than a short run through you have to redo over and over.

    It's the same with games with multiple endings...if there's more than 3 endings that just too many for me.

    I know I will like the game but one or two runs I and will most likely move on to a new single player.

    That's my take and why I am a little disappointed in the "shorter main story" but that said it wont stop me from getting the game and playing it and I understand some people like to rehash the same content and that's okay too but just not for me as much as it is for some others.

    Shadowlands Delayed anyways with no new release date.

    The only time a counter to a powerful zerg fails is when there is not enough pop on a server. However i love games that let you lockdown territory/best xp spots. It encourages forging alliances and making a challenge. Nothing to me tastes sweeter then downing the servers bullies. Happened alot in L2.

    Cyberpunk made it clear the you could make entire decisions that affect storyline throughout gameplay including the ending(s).  (Example from one of their vids was killing or letting a gang boss live).

    So replayability seems to be likely high with this game with different story archs and missions...  not just an alt ending twist.

    Id say 99% of my entire workplace has never heard of this game.

    Hint - they are not gamers
    Who apart form gamers are going to buy it?

    But if the advert campaign truly has been quite limited as suggested then it is not that big a deal.

    Yeah I saw photos of the CP77 branded cans on reddit last week. The hype machine is in overdrive.

    inb4 Rip van Poster creates an account to ask "Is this like Grand Theft Auto?" and then goes away pissed after he learns it's not a multiplayer game and won't be for 2 more years :)
