    TL3 thought to be released too early, CP 2077 gets crunch time when they previously said no need to do something like that, Magic Legends delays launch, Shadowlands delayed.

    I am far happier with studios who realise they need to delay than those that push something out regardless. This is not just the story of this week, it is the story of the last few years as we move to a gaming era where a launch means no more than an update in development cycles and tells us less than ever about how ready the game is to play.

    There is a few more to add to above poster's list....

    The content we never know they removed because it was unfinished and in the way of the release date.They might get real lazy like Arena.Net and just board off a section with a giant wall lol.

    Monetize monetize monetize,that is the biggest story of the past 15 years.

    Want a better game...too bad how about we give you another game mode "battlegrounds" so we can monetize it.
    All you want is a graphic update,umm sorry we can't do that because that doesn't make us money,how about we sell you an entire new game?

    OR.......How about we skip the expansion and just relabel our games as NEW games..Diablo 1..2..3..4 soon after 5!!!!.Nice eh,instead of maybe a $30 expansion we can sell it as a NEW game and get 60-$90 and maybe even $150 for a SPECIAL edition,250 for a COLECTOR's edition.

    Someone needs to write a rock song about monetize monetize monetize.

    Kind of an interesting week when you put it that way. I mean not every week do we see so many delays and stories about companies pushing their release dates, or games that shouldn't be launching yet, headed to an earlier than expected release.

    Though to be fair, when it comes to the latter a lot of games have released that could have used way more time in the development oven. 

    For all we know, next weeks video won't have anything like that. But it is an encouraging trend if you think about it, because those that have been pushed could have been another "X game launches and is completely unplayable" post in a week or two.

    It is good when the decision is made to push the launch back, that can only lead to a better launch. But we are in a gaming era now when a launch means much less than it used to, companies are trying to blur the "game ready" concept of launch with the likes of early access. They do not seem to want their games to be reviewed and scored but be in a state of perpetual development while we fund them. That cannot be good for gaming or players.
