Lord of the rings online. Give more love, less lag-fest (Lag Tirith, Lag "Pelenor" fields), better client, better quests, no slap to VIps faces (with "little expansions!"), developers who actually play their mmo - and you have almost a perfect game.
Istaria. A little diamond that deserves a solid investment. Upgrade graphic. Expand quests (more, more, more!). Return to previous f2p model that was the best - and you have almost a perfect game where paying players can become Dragons and you have player-ruled economy and even towns.
Years ago I remember seeing someone's work of WoW but done in I think it was Unreal Engine & was amazed. It was really impressive. I even thought if Blizzard would do that I'd have to consider returning to the game.
Lord of the Rings Online. I missed out on getting the lifetime sub and the launch, and personally think this game has been very faithful to the books and capturing the essence of Middle Earth. An updated version with modern graphics would be glorious.
Guild Wars! Visually the sequel does the original justice for what the game engine could have been upgraded to; however, the play style and general enjoyment will never match up!
I'd like to see Anarhy Online get remade. Loved many of the ideas in the game but the graphics were tough on the eyes, especially the faces, and it needs to be redone. If they had made AO2 instead of The Secret World it would have been a huge play for Funcom
SWG and EQ1 for me. I wish I could play those games with amazing graphics and their original mechanics but more improved and fleshed out thanks to the advancements in technology for the past 20 years.
This might sound weird but honestly Tabula Rasa, or any Sci Fi MMORPG like Anarchy Online even. We don't have enough of on foot games in the future everything is mostly in space or in vehicles of some sort.
I find some games just keep people playing but the Graphics and the UI is outdated. EQ is in that boat IMO. You look at WoW, just 5 years younger then EQ and look how well its been updated. I really wonder how well EQ1 would have done if SoE had done its job?
