Thanks for your great review! Just wanted to ask what you set your colour balance to since you're the first reviewer I've seen use an actual SpyderX? You mentioned changing the red slightly and it would be great to know the optimal settings.

The SpyderX actually applies its own profile. If you DM me your email address, I would be happy to send you the calibration file.

Looks nice. I like curved ultra-wides. This one is similar to my Alienware AW34 from DELL which I prefer as it is an IPS panel. Its only 120hz though and slightly more expensive than this one.

If I was looking for a cheaper option, I would definitely consider it.

I wish it was IPS. You can't beat IPS colors.

Fantastic review! Very informative for basically anything I could have asked for. This is also pushing me to grab the G34WQC as I have been eagerly waiting to get a fairly priced ultrawide but haven't seen many glowing reviews for the cheaper ones on the market. Thanks!

Great review but I have one question. I own this monitor as well but in my testing the OSD sidekick did not work. It's not listed on the product page for the G34WQC and from my research the software requires a USB connection to the monitor which this monitor does not have. Do you have a link for the software you used?

I tried the software from the G32 but it did not recognize the monitor.

Thanks for the thurough review. I'm looking at grabbing this monitor as I bring my PC back up to speed. Your review was hugely helpful. IDK how to DM you but would be very interested in getting said calibration file please.
