Yes, Victoria managed to snag a Free Company plot. No, it's not fair, nor straightforward -- and it shows how not all FFXIV players are built equal.

They really need to make housing an Account thing and not a character thing, There are loads and loads of people out there who will make dummy characters for the sole purpose of buying up large sections of the housing. They need to make it Account bound to only own one personal home, and if you are an FC leader you can have 1 home per FC. On my server alone there is almost an entire Ward that is owned by 1 person, all the characters share the same name with only slight spelling differences.

I managed to grab a house during all this. Eat the poor, as it were. I've got exceptional hardware as well and I have no doubt that it helped me to nab a house. I also didn't bother to go for one of the highly contested plots. I had found one that was far off, but still nice enough for me. Nothing major.

I'm fine with the way housing works right now, but I do agree with Achrius. A player should not be able to allowed more than one`.

When I played I just could not get a house. I gave up in the end. I actually enjoy housing a lot but the system they have in place where one person owns multiple houses is really quite unfair to many players who do not manage to get even one house.
