Stadia is a scummy operation. We never really own our games but with Stadia it goes one further, you are not even guaranteed access to your game if they shut down. You also buy all your games through their store front so basically Google is trying to monopolize the entire structure,no surprise that is what big business is doing now a days, just ask Amazon.
Where does his all go anyway,Steam Libraries,Epic store,GOG store,Blizzard app,Stadia it's getting ridiculous.
This is gaming in 2020,games are not getting better but the business structure is,tons of businesses all trying to cash in on the lowly game. If I were to ever even remotely consider Google or Microsoft a benefit to gaming I want to see them fork over some of those billions towards the game developers that allow them to get rich.
Instead all we keep getting are LEECHES,Google store front will be getting yet again a cut on sales,my guess...25%?
Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.
What is even funnier is as mentioned by another poster, people hate Epic but right now nobody would be giving ANY free games if not for Epic's store forcing the rest of the market to "compete". Like Google really seemed to cringe at the thought but claims you will or might be getting around 1 free game a month but if Epic wasn't doing it you can bet Google wouldn't do it either.

Good luck saving face after your "creative director" went and showed he has no clue how marketing works, trying to battle the largest marketing forces of this generation. Good news is if anyone is looking for a C-level tech job and you've been awake for the past 10 years, call google for an interview!

To be honest, he isn't Stadia creative director (and has already changed his bio on twitter, the twat)
I wonder why people hate the Epic platform but I haven't seen any hate against this?
'Hate' that overused word. Anyway nearly all I see on here about Stadia is it does not do what they say, lag and so on.
I personally don't have any issue, not even in chrome on pc
Take your point, we just don't get many saying that. But I am minded of the fact that people tend to post more when they have a complaint than when everything is alright.

Yeah I know, I see more negative posts on Stadia than positive ones, I agree with you there. But in my experience the negativity is from people who didn't try it
Not going to jump to stadia, after one of their creative directors says, "Streamer should pay licensing fee or royalty for streaming games, they owned" I'm very certain they will milk you to death if you use stadia.
