imageMMO Halloween Roundup 2020 | MMORPG.com

When it comes to in-game season events, there's no doubt in my mind that MMOs leave the rest of the gaming world wishing they had more treats to offer. With less than a week to go until Halloween, MMOs from A to Z - well, W at least - have hung their spooky decorations, pulled out all of their tricks, and readied bags full of treats for their players. We even hunted down a few of the Not So MMO games that may be of interest to you. Even though I haven't played in a couple of years, DDO's The Nig

Depending whether you want to classify this as MMO or Not So MMO (I don't care who calls it what), there's still Guild Wars 1

Good round up, but I too am wondering why SC, a game not out yet is on that list.

Some thought has gone into what they call their events I do like traditional ones like DCUO "The Witching Hour" and intriguing ones like Neverwinter "Masquerade of the Liars". But some well...Aion "Super Spookily Halloween Event" or even worse BDO "Spooky Witchy Halloween." Stop giving jobs like that to a committee. :)

Great round up indeed, usually I need to add a few (I like to play the underdogs :) ) but this time even CO's Blood Moon is on the list.
    Double  :+1:

(ed. AoC is missing, but they don't call it Halloween and just a few missions anyway)

Villagers and Heroes has their annual Halloween event running. Features include multiple raid bosses, daily quests, and numerous rewards.

    There is also a contest:

I am sorry you disagree with me putting SC in the MMO group. I can assure you it wasn't because of my love for the game. I don't play the game and have given a total of $0 to the project. In fact, the only time I even notice it is around is when people pop off in the forums here in an attempt to attack or defend it.

Yeah sadly one of my biggest turnoffs and imo scummy moves by a developer was seeing how Kings Isle monetizes holiday events.
In reality likely the only time I really got into a Halloween event was with FFXI,i really wanted that pumpkin head and Trick or Treat Staff.I enjoyed the Christmas stuff as well like the Santa suit/hat.

However back on the sad topic and I noticed mentioned by other posters is that I truly despise any developer trying to cash in on holiday events it makes them look real scummy.

Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.

That's a huge list! Forget sometimes how many mmorpg's are out there.
