Earlier today, Blizzard president J Allen Brack announced via a new YouTube video that the company's upcoming BlizzConline will be free for all to watch online.

I fixed your title for you. Your welcome.
Diablo 4 and OverWatch 2 are still in development and far out.
WoW Shadowlands releases in 3 weeks.
So what else is there to talk about? Other than running advertisements for ActiVision?
Why even bother with a Blizzcon this year at all.
Well I have three theories..
1 They have something planned to sell and likely connects to perks in their games.
2 They can still make some decent money off this online, especially with sponsors which they most certainly will have.
3 They always need to advertise. They have a marketing team, they get paid to do marketing/advertising,if they are not doing anything why would Blizzard pay them?
Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.

'But there are many. You can play them entirely solo, and even offline. Also, you are wrong by default.'
Ikcin in response to yours sincerely debating whether or not single-player offline MMOs exist...
'This does not apply just to ED but SC or any other game. What they will get is Rebirth/X4, likely prettier but equally underwhelming and pointless.
It is incredibly difficult to design some meaningfull leg content that would fit a space ship game - simply because it is not a leg game.
It is just huge resource waste....'

You forgot Warcraft 3 re-re-release. Maybe a third time is the charm and they finally get it right.
Will i spare the time? I dunno there is huge difference from being there at a convention and an online one, hint; online f'ing blows, boring af.
Actually that's a great idea.
I'll watch it if Blizzard pays me.

D4 is years away from showing anything worth spending money on.
D4 will release much sooner than you think. Since Blizzard is no more and ActiVision is in full control, it will release as soon as they have a minimal viable product. Slap an aggressive Cash Shop on it, loot boxes or hell....maybe even trying to revive the disaster that was Real Money Auction house. Add an expansion/DLC pass to boot. Just to maximum milk the Diablo brand.
After the BfA expansion disaster, it should be pretty clear that Blizzard as you know it no longer exist. Releasing stuff when it's done is no longer the motto of the company.
This would give players the option to remain in classic or press on. The population would have to remain very high for that though.
I can't tell if you are trolling but here are the two biggies:
