Despite being disappointed over and over, even as recently as Marvel's Avengers, I'm still curious to see if the next one will succeed where others have failed. And that's where Godfall comes in.

    I worry it might lack depth and long term re-playability.

    If they can make the gear and valor-plates unique and fun, and the combat engaging, then grinding could be fun? I'm probably going to give it a try because I'm bored, but have low expectations.

    Personally with Outriders coming in Feb 2021 I will wait for that one, it seems to have more depth. But I will keep my eye on Godfall and see how it develops and maybe get it on a good sale, borderlands 3 was a disappointment so im not in any rush to give gearbox more money atm.

    I think it looks horrible, not a fan of the graphics at all. Combat looks basic but who knows. I will definitely wait until all the reviews are in and the honeymoon phase is over.

    'This does not apply just to ED but SC or any other game. What they will get is Rebirth/X4, likely prettier but equally underwhelming and pointless. 

    It is incredibly difficult to design some meaningfull leg content that would fit a space ship game - simply because it is not a leg game.

    It is just huge resource waste....'

    I guess i am too old anymore. All these games just seem hectic to me and demand lots of action all the time.

    Just not things i like in my games. I like slower games...ya i know there are lot of games and not all or even a few are for everyone....but still, it seems most games are going the route of fast action all the time that i just would never even try.

    Oh well put me in the old folks home of gaming i guess? Hope it turns out well for those that are interested in it.

    game looks mediocre at best. the only redeeming feature so far is the graphics and armor styles as we need more badass god fighting stuff. Combat is just... yikes. Will be waiting for reviews, but just paying or even preorder(wtf, they showed literally nothing to be worth that much money, they're selling this compared to cyberpunk, different genre? same AAA tier tho). +70$+later on DLC's(dont lie to yourself pls)+always online for singleplayer, can add EGS exclusive too for people who care. Honeslty, doesn't look worth the money they're asking, tho 9/10 games nowadays are the same so w.e.

    Pre-ordered and cant wait to check it out.. I love Looter Shooters and to finally have a looter slasher with great graphics and looks to be a good combat system is a super + for me. However, at times when watching the trailer you see mobs just hanging back while you fight a mob, I do hope that changes through difficulty.

    The end game seems pretty cool with the tower.

    Melee only and AAA pricing model. This just screams ‘Wait for a sale and reviews’.

    Yeah I have been keeping an eye on Outriders myself. They do dev streams a good bit and it looks to be pretty good as it is now. Godfall seems good also, but going the exclusive route makes me not want to support it right now.

    Sandman, you have just worked out a great business opportunity. It may come to us all one day and where better to go than a Gaming Old Folks Home? Get that kick starter going and we will have a few ready when we need them. But hopefully nobody needs early access. :)

    Sandman, you have just worked out a great business opportunity. It may come to us all one day and where better to go than a Gaming Old Folks Home? Get that kick starter going and we will have a few ready when we need them. But hopefully nobody needs early access. :)



    I work in a nursing home and our therapy department has a Wii. Activities also has a seperate bowling game where you hold a plastic ball and simulate throwing it. They have contests with another home close to us with that one, along with in house competition.

    I like the concept, but what turns me off is that this is NOT a live service game but a single player game with coop component and locally saved progress.

    So cheating will be easy, which for me is a big no-no in a looter game. That's the reason I couldn't get into Grim Dawn either...

    Game looks decent to me, and it's from Borderlands creators, which I've always enjoyed. If I can get a PS5 on launch day I'll probably snag it along with AC: Valhalla, and possibly Demon's Souls and Legion

    Cheating? in Grim Dawn? How do you cheat in a single player game?
