Logic, my dear, merely enables one to be wrong with great authority.
You cannot build your character the way you want that is always a BS statement,there are parameters set by the design that limits what you can do.However in Atlas I CAN do exactly that because I can change the stats of the game and add mods so the game plays the way I want.
This pretty much sounds like an empty world to pvp in.Player driven economy,not sure how that is suppose to work.How is there suppose to be a player driven economy in a pvp game?What you show up on the doorstep of your enemy with a box of girl guide cookies?If there was some kind of central auction house players would just camp that AH and kill everyone.
I don't see any mention of wildlife or pets or taming or water zones,so yeah if your game is LESS than Atlas which is already an unfinished product then your game is really downgraded.
Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.
People pay them to put it on the site, not edit it.
If you want a new idea, go read an old book.

As I understand it, the developers want to revive the game, why not?
A new account is a good decision, since a lot of negativity has accumulated while the game was not supported. The main thing is not to forget to remove the old game page from Steam.

After the release, I will try the new version and text a review.
I was always amazed by all sorts of dodiki who only know how to shit in comments, instead of exchanging a bottle of beer to help the project they are playing. I'll definitely pay the guys ten bucks.
Now this Reborn version has popped out of nowhere, and there's no list, trailer, or even different screenshots to show what if anything they changed from last version. Even the picture on this MMORPG.com articles is taken straight out of steam page for original Skies. This looks more like a scam attempt by dishonest devs than a honest relaunch.
I would also like to note that very cool ideas are implemented in the game. I really like pvp battles. I think when the guys finish everything they talked about, the game will be just TOP.

At the moment they've got 85% negative reviews on Steam, so they're unlikely to get many more players trying their game.
