A similar setup, but with siege.  This is designed for front-loaded damage while still tanking quite well and being able to hold down an opponent.  Please be aware this is a PvP setup.

    6 siege launcher II

2 medium nosferatu (ghoul or better for CPU)

    1 XL C5L shield booster

    1 faint 20km scrambler

1 heavy electrochemical cap injector with 800's

    1 shield boost amplifier

    2 invulnerability field II

    3 ballistic control II

    1 RCU II

    1 coprocessor II

For drones, I suggest either Berserker SW-900's to web your target or Wasp EC-900's to jam your target.

Well first of all is it a PvP setup or PvE setup you are looking for?

Wanted to ask same thing :)

If for PVE, then my setup I used to hunt in 0.0 was:

Highs: 6 Siege (no need for Cruise), 2 Tractor Beams
Med: 1 Large XL Booster (C-5L or faction, not T2) , 4 hardeners, and in last either a Shield Amp or additional hardener.
Lows: 2 BCUs, 3 PDUs (all low slot items T2 if possible)

What type of ship are you flying? You want a setup that will be most advantageous to your ship's strengths.

Then the setups of Wrayeth and Mutiny is a good starting point, though with Mutiny's setup I would drop the cap recharger and use either a Webber, Afterburner or Sensor Booster.

The most important question is if you expect smaller (ie Frig, Destroyer, Cruiser) targets or larger (BC, BS) If former then Cruise Missiles may be the better bet, else Torpedoes. Also keep in mind that you can use F.O.F. Cruise in case you are jammed, but that obviously only works if you have Cruise Missile Launchers fitted.

Also note that none of those two setups use EW, which is also an important part of soling. Either a dampener or Mulitspec Jammer. Especially Frig and cruiser size ships can be eliminated from the equation of combat by them.

I strongly suggest, that you make a setup and try it out with a corpm8, and optimize it until you are satisfied.

On a side note: Solo PVP in EVE is getting harder and harder, and is best done in a fast agile ship, not a bs.

Have to agree with the post above. Solo PvP in EVE is a very problematic thing. If you are not in the corp or allience the only solo PvP you will be able to do is pirating. If you are going to do that, dont use BS, use an interceptor or a cruser. BS is just too clostly to loose on the casual basis. On the other hand crusers are cheap and expandable.

If you want to know good setups go to EVE forums, go to Ship and Module section and there will be a sticky that contains a collection of peoples various setups.

4x Remote Sensor Dampener II's in the mids work wonders.
