Open-world Star wars? I love it but coming from Ubisoft...

What's wrong with Ubisoft doing an open world Star Wars? I want to climb to the top of the Death Star and survey my zone, space hawk flying around me. :)

Turn based replaced with action combat in Persona, which is always apparently a good thing in the reviews. To me it is just part of the entire gaming industry pushing towards one type of gameplay template. Boring, boring, boring.

Supposedly CP 2077 is all down to the developers not seeing the problems, I don't buy it, how could they miss such blatant issues? At the shareholders (?) meeting one of the design team queried the business team as to how they had let this happen, looks like the design team have been lined up to take the blame instead of the business team for any lawsuits. A mistake by the developers rather than the business team pans out better.

The new Indiana Jones game is going to be headed by Todd Howard, never forget FO 76 guys, I certainly won't touch that until I see launch reviews, but that's what I always do anyway.

Not specifically Ubisoft themselves, though I agree they really overuse that one formulae, reskinned into several games :)  but they also have the South Park games, those were great.

I was kinda like cameltosis in the previous thread about it.
New SW game?  - Yeah, I like SW...
Open world?   - Hell yeah, I love GTA.
From the makers of Division?   - Shit... (I close the door behind me on the way out)

Same with Indy. I was an adventure addict and a big Lucasarts fan back in the '80s and '90s, they made some of the best adventure games at that time - pretty much everything SCUMM.
Indy, Fate of Atlantis was really good and unique within the lineup with its game modes.

I just fail to see how Todd, as executive producer, could serve any good to the IP and legacy, besides flashy presentations about how many times the details and map sizes will be compared to the previous versions - he'll have an easy time with that, considering the last Indy was almost 2 decades ago (if not count the Lego Indy, and the PSP action game).

I would love to see a Jedi based game in the style of Witcher 3.

IKR. Instead of a bland open world game like they usually release now we'll have bland open worldS to explore. And given how Ubisoft treats their employees our character will be able to sexually harass twi'leks.
