Well okay with all that goes on with this board and I used to play in a long long time ago... no wait thats an entirely different balls game.
Anyhooo
I bit the bullet and went back, and you know what... I LIKED IT..
Yes I know it seems wierd and yes my middle name is Judas (I to crave for pre-cu) but with whats coming on ts2 it looks like $OE are finally getting there act together and putting some of the pre CU stuff back in without rolling back the entire servers. (I remember that people complained just as much about the game then as they do now)
No I didnt respec I deleted and started over. (and yes I did do jedi had one already but the changes to the game were such I couldnt get my head around them all)
Well at present im enjoying it with the servers being light use etc. yes alot of people have left and gone to WOW or Eq2 those that are left may well be Fan Persons or whatever but they are a maturer bunch, and the galactic civil war stuff actually makes me want to PVP.
Well only been playing a week again now but like I said enjoying it emensily.
so finally Obraik your not alone.. (for now) hehe.
well thats all for now and Im not some kind of Vegative matter from $OE before all that starts
and trust me it worth £9 to find out whats been done to it
Next stop space and beyond.!!!! be back with my thoughts on the space combat soon.

No flame from me for doing any of it, dont expect to get it either.
I dont understand what exactly you like about the NGE, maybe its the fragments of pre nge they add in here and there that make you remember how things were or maybe you've just been gone too long, but to me and MANY others its not the same.

The update on TC2 does show a lot of promise atm, though I haven't been able to get on there long enough to really bug hunt it, in the time i was on there I only found some of the usual "cmd" line coding errors. What makes it look so promising you all may ask?? Funny thing the new combat upgrade puts back things that were taken out, my current worry is the couple of complaints I have heard about it being to hard on TC will continue to grow and the difficulty will be left as it is on live easymode.
For those that don't know how easy the game has really gotten by level 35 my Officer could clear a level 80+ graul lair in less then 3 mins without getting hit, from what i can see the only mobs/npcs a low level player has to be careful of on live right now are higher level with ranged attacks.
I will give what I have seen so far of the update on TC my own thumbsup but I have no cheering for the devs they still have far to much work to do to start cheering them on, and TH will never get a cheers or Kudos from me he is a Yes Man and nothing more then that.
What did you not like about the game before, and what do you like now? Please be specific.
Please clarify this statement, "Well at present im enjoying it with the servers being light use etc." The way that I am reading it is that you prefer a MMO game to have few people on it.
Edit: The reason that I am asking for specifics is because your post is mostly how you "feel" about the game. Feelings are opinions. Stating feelings while not giving the causes for why you feel that way makes it impossible to judge if I can share the same opinion as you.
