Surely. I had played WoW for a year, and then Lineage 2 for relatively the same amount, and I have to say, both got old very quickly. Also, the Item based PvP for both was a huge bother. I love the way this game looks setup currently, and I can't wait to see more. Keep me posted!
I am planning on playing this game, but my final decision will be based on my experiences with the beta testing. (i hope to get into the closed beta, but thats a small change) After the open beta i will decide if i will buy this game or not.
I am, just depends if this comes out before Pirates of the Burning Sea.
I like to invest all my effort in one MMOG at a time.

Been keeping up with thier dev on thier forums and news letters. This is definiatyl one of the games that has cought my eye. I don't think it will be a spectaculer new addition to the MMO scene, but it jsut looks very playable.
I've been checking out tcos.com oftenly to catch up on the world. Looks pretty sweet and a well put together game. One of the games that im deciding on to play for the next few years.
I am most certainly going to play Spellborn. It's one of most promising MMORPGs currently in developement. I'm cautiously hoping it fulfills its potential.
I thought I posted here already. This is the game I'm waiting for. First time I've actually sticked with a game in dev so long usually I just get bored and forget about it.
If it turns out to be less than expected I will be really disapointed, since in theory it sounds like a step forward in MMORPG-history. Much more so than some other "new-generation MMORPGs" out there.
I am watching, gleaning all information I can. But also watching two others. Time is limited for me to invest in more than one game at this time .
So, reading forums, posting, watching. In the end I guess it will come down to which one will suit me best and how I like to play While in beta, one of the biggest things I watch, next to learning about the game mechanics and vision of the game is the community participating. For me, if not a friendly, cohesive community, I will step away no matter how great the game. Because this is what will also be in game.
Seeing that beta's are going on (or will be soon) on all three. Time will tell.

I have great hope for the "Dark Horse" entry into the MMORPG realm. I've seen a number of MMOs with awesome design goals fall well short due to rushed releases, or just a lot of unfounded hype. If Spellborn avoids those pitfalls, I see tons of potential here.
I'm glad they are taking time to tune the combat. DDO showed that the hype over "twitch like" combat was just hype. Addsalot of headaches with little or no positives in actual practice. I hope they are re-examining those plans. The rotating skill bar thing made sense for strategic combat, but no sense for twithc or semi twitch. We'll see...

DDO sucks period, I hated their combat system, I'm pretty positive TCoS will be nothing like that awful experience. So I absolutely will be playing this game whenever it is made avaivable to the public, unless I get a beta invite but I'm not holding my breath on that one
Hmhm, also thinking about at least trying it. I very much like the Backgroud setting and the customizable Charakters/Armors, the magic system seems interestingly differnet to me too, though the graphics don´t realy blow me away. I like it a bit "softer", there are still too many angles in those screenshots i saw for my taste. Mind you I like the comicbooklook of the charakters, but the landscapes all seem a bit too generic to me. (Apart from being located on floating rocks in space. )
Ahwell, I´ll probably gibe it a shot and see where it takes me

Ryzom, we dare to be different. Do you dare to adapt?
Its going for that certain look that World of Warcraft has. You know, the cartoonish sort of look, but the devs managed to also pull in that Morbid (death) and dark look, into it and I totally love it. Yeah the devs as they officially stated, they are totally on the combat system, ensuring it will be fun without any glitches or bugs to ruin that fun! Spellborn really wants to be the game thats fun to those who are interested in what it offers. The devs want to make sure their player base will always enjoy their game.
By the way, at first I was a bit uncertain about their combat system (rotating skill decks), but being a beta tester of the game, I got hold of the idea of what the devs desire for the combat system and now I think it absolutely rocks! This truely is a unique game and will go down in the history books among WoW, EQ and many others.
Keep in mind, this game is nothing like WoW or EQ, its just those 2 games are 2 of the most popular games there are....and Spellborn is the better of both of them

The fact that this game is made by dutchmen is really special . So I'd give it a shot and surely try it.
