Football’s over by then. And it’s free. I’ll probably check it out. I still get consumed by Overwatch, Diablo and/or WoW for a couple months a year or so. Enjoying Shadowlands so far.

Blizzard doesn't make good games,i even pretty much stopped playing Hearthstone, the one game i was putting some time in to.

Even if i did,Blizzard is not a good developer, they might be running a free to watch but you can bet they will have some gimmicks to make money off it.They will be selling something that coincides with each game and maybe even some cross event stuff, all in all just a great big commercial.
You don't need Blizzcon to see Cosplay or have contests.Of course there will be some kind of Diablo promotion, big FAKE smiles high fives all around the table, get a bunch of their employees to tell us how much FUN it was working on the new game, how great itis going to be,the BEST DIablo ever, yeah same old song and Blizzard dance.

Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.

I bet..I bet...I BET that some (if not all of them) will say

    "We love games"

They always say this sentence. And right after some bullshit follows.

I'll wait for the highlight videos.

I'll probably watch diablo related stuff live.  The downside of their open communication on D4 development is that the only big reveal will probably just be a new playable class, which really isn't high on my wish list at all.  But hey, maybe they will have something cool to reveal in terms of itemization or skill trees.

If they do announce D2-remastered, I hope it doesn't have asian art direction like WC3 did.  Outsourcing the art direction for WC3-Refunded resulted in unit design that was nothing at all consistent with WC3.

WOW Classic TBC seems like a definite to me as the demand for it probably is larger than for Classic+ content.  And obviously it's much easier to produce and release.

Have they or are they going to announce that their going to offer an exadurated pixelated version of D2 for free and then you have to pay for the remastered version.

This isn't a signature, you just think it is.

They rehearse and write carefully crafted speaking points for weeks before these shows.

They want to make it seem just like a bunch of devs speaking freely - it's not like that at all, it's heavily rehearsed - to maximize the positive spin and complexly hide the negatives.

It's a sales pitch - but they want to make it seem cool because you know it's for the gamers.

    Of course they do.
Of course it's a sales pitch.
What else do you want from a yearly event where they talk about their games?
I'm shocked at the people who are upset about this.
What do you want them to say?
    Everything sucks? Go away?
    lol
